Torch works amazing! I got it on sale but I'd recommend it even if it wasn't. I'm my opinion it's worth the little extra from the TS4000 to have the adjustable regulator. I was surprised how much hotter the MAPP torch head burned compared to my old brass propane torch head. This kit works well for removing rusty bolts off my Jeep.

I use this in the kitchen, and love it. I bought regular lighters in the past, but this is like 1000 times better.

This torch works great as expected. The trigger start is a really comvient feature and the temperature is great for a compact item.

Purchased to brown foods after sous vide cooking. Simple to use, hot, works well and reliably. Love that it is auto start. Propane canisters are half the price of the traditional butane canisters sold for traditional kitchen torches. This works better and is more economical.

Had the torch for a little over a month. Using it to stiffen pottery/sculpture clay. Works great as expected.

This product would get more stars from me if it had a different flame in it. You can not get a pencil type point flame on it with it turned down at all, so it is only good for larger jobs in bigger areas. It's advertised as being able to do small to large jobs, however it can not be turned down enough and still have a flame that will do anything. It seems to be a great product for large jobs though.

I love the instant triggering of the flame with the push of a button. The intensity of heat is immediate and rapid. This is excellent for silver soldering.

I purchased this torch for a plumbing project that required working on a platform and soldering overhead. Being able to light the torch and extinguish with the touch of a button made the job much easier and safer. The torch build is top quality and would light each and every time. I also liked that it has a valve control to adjust the flame size and intensity although I did find the valve touchy and in moving it in my hand it was very easy to brush against the valve and have the flame intensity change while working. This is minor and once known I was more careful to steer clear of the valve knob.

I purchased this torch about 5 years ago and it still works great! Its been used every single day probably and average of 15-20 times a day to light fires in our wood stove, making smores, melting glass, as well as knocked over more times than I can count. Love this torch!

Very good price for what you get. Quality does not feel cheap.
