We had bamboo shades & needed something behind the bamboo so you couldn't see in. This worked great. It's easy with a little tug & it rolls up or down and still lets some light. I do wish Home Depot had a pop-up saying "this item doesn't include brackets because we had to go to the store to get those. (the plastic smell went away after a couple days)

I like the shade itself and it was super easy to install. They just sent me the wrong width. I nailed little pieces of wood under the brackets but it's still barely clears the sides of the window. Now I need to order another size...ugh. The description says the shade is the actual width ordered but mine was a good inch narrower...really annoying

what I expected; fit perfectly in the brackets I already had on the window. It's for the garage so I don't need any thing too fancy but it could be used in another room with nice curtains . I can't speak to the durability as I rarely need to roll it up.

Was easy to install and is working out fine. The service clerk was very nice, as well.

I just had to take the blinds out of the package and hang. No cutting required. Product was shipped very quickly.

Sadly, these blinds are not a good buy. The recoil spring mechanism lets go unexpectedly and refuses to stay in place. Very frustrating.

The material is cheap and the cuts are not clean. The guy who did the cut to size did not clean cut the sticks, they look broken and not cut using a sharp tool.

If you order this, you better make sure you order the brackets, because they do not come with the shades. Not very smart!

Easy to hang, adjust tension.. Sometimes a little stubborn about raising even after adjusting tension. Typical of roller shades but much better in all ways than blinds.

We ordered these online. Decent Quality. Easy to order online. Timely Delivery. These worked out great for us. We used them for our sun porch which has windows all along one side. Our house is close to the road, so they provide great privacy. Also, they provide a little extra insulation as the porch is not heated. Just be ware....they do not come with brackets. We assumed they would, but we were wrong. We had to run out to the local Home Depot to buy some. We bought Bali Cut-to-Size 5 in. Inside Mount Roller Shade Brackets Model # 38-0150-00. They are $0.98 for a pack.

cheap poor quality never worked spring was sprung from first time put it up. worthless as a piece of trash waste of money!

Needed this for my bathroom window and it worked perfectly. There is no problem in getting wet.

The shade is more than adequate in keeping out the sun until I can afford a more stylish window covering.

Appears well made, works well, easy to install. The department rep who cut the blind to size did a really good job, neat and precise.

The Roller Shade was made to order which needed no readjustment due to the fact I was able to specify my required size and it was followed expertly. Great Customer service!!!

The one in my bathroom, eight plus years old, finally stopped rolling up and down, so I had to get this replacement. It fits great. I find these shades helpful in addition to the privacy glass and to deflect heat out of the house. It's an older home that lacks insulation so every little thing makes a difference.

Take three or more pulls to get it to roll up. When it does go up it doesn't go all the way up. It only works right in a 1 1/2 foot area in the middle of the window, so if I want the blinds to be half way open or 3/4 open its fine. Returning the two I bought.

Old fashioned window roller shade works fine, so far. They have been up a couple of weeks. Custom cut feature was perfect, they fit great. Was absolutely the best value I could find. I would certainly but again.

The shade was custom cut--wrong by 10 inches. It couldn't be installed.

The rolling up mechanism doesn't work very well and requires multiple attempts to get back up. Also, this item doesn't come with mounting brackets. Very annoying to make an extra trip to HD for a $1 part.
