The screening material was adequate, but the roller was made of cardboard and VERY inadequate. I ended up inserting a six inch wooden dowel inside the side that was trimmed (to make the shade the right size) because the plastic end device they provided kept falling out and made the shade unsteady and unsafe. Now works OK with the dowel.

Value light saver
I have 2 large windows in our bathroom and wanted to have them covered quickly, easily, and for low cost - due to the damp nature of a bathroom I did not want to waste time or money on fabric curtains or shades. These work well - so well I went and got two more for downstairs to go behind curtains as added privacy. They are definitely NOT blackout, or even room darkening - they allow a lot of light through which is what I wanted in the bathroom. Also, I ordered the exact width of the window, per the product description, and there was not enough room for the mounting brackets. It was a bit frustrating, but I took them in to the store and they trimmed a half inch off (inside mount). Worth the leg work for the great value and function. I will also say the vinyl is thin; if you pull too hard it might stretch or tear. Just be aware you are buying a good under-curtain layer. I would buy thicker ones for high-use/wear areas. The cut to width was a great option for my standard length windows.

Just what we needed
I replaced shades that were old and brittle. This shade is what we needed at a good price. Allows good amount of light, but that is fine with us.

Good shade
Shade fit just right. We are always thankful for the excellent cutting job your staff do on shades. This was a replacement for one we had purchased a while ago and matches the rest.

window shade
The material was very thin and bad quality. A person that didn't know how, cut it and it was cut the wrong size so it didn't fit.

Not so good
The shade has already lost its spring. Tried tightening but springs back. Won't go up or down.

Very cheaply made
You get what you pay for. This blind is cheap to buy and the quality shows that. Spend a little more money and get one that works.

too cheap!
Wow, I thought cheap junk was going to be fine. And it would be if you just wanted to leave it down. But after about 6 up and downs, the end is coming out of the cardboard. Not surprising- the plastic fitting on the cut-to-fit end just kind of sticks in there. But then it's supposed to take the force of being pulled up and down. It's just for my garage, but it's too junky.

Get Clarification on Width to Order
After reading the Q&A's along with the ordering instructions I figured this was going to be a slam-dunk. The inside of my window trim measured 58.5 inches, the measuring chart says to order 58.5 inches for an inside mount, I ordered their inside mount brackets, everything was cool. The blind showed up within a week so I opened the package, installed the brackets, went to hang up the shades and discovered that they were 3/8 inch too long. I rechecked my measurements and they were okay. Now what? I called customer service, waited on hold for 30 minutes, and hung up. I was able to remove the spring pin cover from the blinds and get them mounted, although the installation is somewhat wobbly. Luckily I am not planning on operating the blinds very often (if at all).

Not very happy with the shades the pins in the end were to short. I am actually taking them to Home Depot to see if the pins can be adjusted

Shades are poorly made.
I ordered 4 of the shades in hopes of using them for a window treatment project. The shades do not roll up and down or they roll up too hard. Also, shades are uneven and do not roll up evenly. These are cheap and you get even less than what you pay for.

Should have spend a few more dollars.
I knew it was inexpensive when I purchased it, but the quality it truly paper-thin and the sun shines right through it. I guess you really get what you pay for.

Customer cut blind
The blind itself works fine. The end of the blind was taped to the blind and didn't fit. I had to trim it with a knife to get it to fit. Also, the measurements weren't clear. When you order a 39 inch blind it didn't account for the extra half inch that the end pieces added. That also made installation challenging.

would not purchase again
Would not buy again.Hard to put up the shade by pulling on bottom would not wind up again and have to keep adjusting.Does not cover the window well-bows out around the side of the shades so people can still see in.Is light filtering though like it says.

I will replace this as soon as I have time
This shade is very light weight & thin & not even what I would consider an average quality. After using it a few times the spring is not as tight as it was when we first used it. I almost got one for my other window at the same time & I am glad I didn't - It will be worth it to buy a much better quality shade.

pg
i purchased three of these filter blinds in February 2015, installed them a few days later and I am still very happy with them. They are not darkening shades. However, they do dim the sun that we get in early morning. I also ordered them pre cut to size. I tried that "cut them yourself " on other blinds we had bought before, and this was not an easy project. These blinds are in adult bedrooms, so they are not treated roughly and do the job. They do not come with hardware to hang them. Ordered the hardware the same time I ordered the blinds and they arrived on the same day. I would order again.
