The blind, although a little flimsy, did exactly what I bought it to do. It blocks the street light from coming in to the bedroom at night. Good price, great value, thumbs up!!!!

Shade was expertly cut to my size .works well and blocks the light.

I read so many bad comments about this roller shade before I received it. It arrived, and I set it up on the window, and it is not working properly. It DOES NOT roll up completely. The shade is attached to the roller at an angle. I'm not lying. This product is really poor quality. It also smells bad. I will return it right away. I'm not kind of person who leaves comments after buying product but, Don't waste time to buy it.

The product seems to be just fine. We bought it for our nursery and it fit just right and appears to keep most light out.

If I pull the shade all the way down, after a about a week, the spring becomes loose and the shade can't be rolled up.

Product is good. It does not come with brackets which required a trip to the store.

We bought these shades for our son's bedroom. They block the light well and he doesn't have trouble opening and closing them. They do not come with the brackets so make sure you order them right away...it's not stated on the website. Save yourself the added trip.

If you need privacy this is the ticket! Had them in stock and had it up in a half hour.

The width I needed are springy in the middle and therefore I am not sure how long these will last. The old shades had wooden spools and the shade wore out not the spool.

We ordered these to go in a child's bedroom in an old "turn of the century" house. We got them for a combination light blocker and for "insulation" (to help keep the cold out and the warm in this winter). We put them up and the sun isn't shining right in her eyes in the morning (I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in getting up at "sunrise" every day because the sun was in my child's face). The room is also staying warmer, which was a big concern beforehand. The only issue I have with the blinds is that we ordered them at 31.5", the shipping label said 31.5", but the product was 29.5", which caused a bit of an issue for us, and delayed her room being ready on time (we had painted it as well). I do recommend these as an alternative to mini-blinds, especially for larger windows. They do an amazing job keeping the light to a minimal, and you don't have to worry about the gaps between the slats on mini-blinds, nor the little holes in the slats where the cord weaves through. They are an excellent light blocker, and the create a wonderful barrier against cold and heat (we have a set in the windows in our bedroom, and they help insulate the room all year around).

This product is all I could ask for. Easy installation and once installed easy to operate. The mechanism that rolls the shade up-down is very smooth. The customer service and shipping was excellent. I am so pleased with the product and Home Depot, that I am getting ready to order eight more of the shades.

I was concerned at first when purchasing the shades, because I had never bought them before. Everything is working out fine so far. The shades do the job that was stated in the description, and they keep the room noticeably cooler. They are good quality for the money. I would be willing to buy this brand again.

I wouldn't buy this product again because it was difficult to roll up because the spring in it (its retraction ability) was not good.

Absolute waste of money, even for a shade this cheap. I bought this shade in the evening, rolled it down to go to bed and block the sun. By morning the tension spring had already uncoiled. I have had to return them to Home Depot 3 times now. Do not purchase these shades.

They are good. They do no roll up all the way even after adjusting the spring. We are using them in a camper so we did not want to spend a lot. I would probably buy something different next time.

I purchased two cut-to-size (72" and 70") roller blinds. They appear to be rigid when the vinyl is wrapped around the roller, but as soon as they were pulled down just 48", the rollers sag about 1 full inch in the middle - making it ineffective. The only thing that makes them appear rigid in the store is that there is so much vinyl wrapped around the roller. These things have to have wooden rollers - or even metal. A 24" roller shade seemed to be rigid enough, but the spring load for the roll-up will not work if the shade is pulled-down more than 30 inches. tightening the spring by rolling it up and putting it back in place did not work as you could hear the spring unwind as soon as it is pulled down. Junk!

This patio set is very solid. I am not a fan of much outdoor furniture. It's difficult to make something that is both comfortable and stands up to the elements well. However, these chairs deliver the best of both worlds. There are no cushions; the chairs are just built with a natural sloping curve and have a spring built into the legs for a gentle, short rocking sensation. My in-laws have a similar set, which I why I was excited to get this originally. I am not disappointed. As a bonus, it is also made in America! I would recommend this set to anyone who needs a small patio set for their backyard.

This is not my first blind, nor my last from home depot. The price is excellent and the ease of installation fantastic! Thanks, Mike

I bought 2 of these shades for the room darkening feature. Bottom line is they do not work. I have had darkening shades in the past that did actually work so I know the difference. These do not block the light at all. Don't waste your money.

The 6 mil cuts the light in my spare bedroom enough for guests to "nap". Looks good from the outside, Shades are the best.

this shade had to be cut and I found that the roll up mechanism does roll up the shade as good as it should.. the shade itself is a good quality shade.. Just be careful having it cut to fit a smaller size..
