This is a very handy blower. I have both a gas blower and a plug in electric. Both are good for what they do. But, for spur of the moment jobs, this unit is just plain handy. It is light enough for my wife to use and can even be used inside the house. I had another 18 volt battery from another B&D tool so it is good to have a fully charged battery ready when the one that came with it dies.

I have about 35 feet of driveway, 60 feet of sidewalk, and another 35 feet of a walking path as well as 13 steps down to the basement. Sweeping this with the B&D beats the heck out of using any modern traditional broom. For the grass clippings it gets easier waiting 15 minutes for the grass to dry . The battery does not last long maybe 10 minutes tops but with the area I have to cover EVERY WEEK, I am glad I have this. It also keeps my neighbors maple tree helicopter seeds off my driveway. I tried it on leaves in the grass, not effective, that is where you see the difference between a sweeper and a blower.

I bought this unit to supplement my B & D corded unit. Not only is there not a wall mounting unit with the unit, there is not even an option to buy one. The battery charger is the same...no wall mount and no option to buy one. I wonder how many of these types of things I can buy before I run out of shelf space.

Brand new, bought it yesterday. Charged it overnight, 9+ hours as instructed. Blew off leaves on my deck, 6 sqare ft. Blowing hard enough to blow dog bowls and carpets around. Moved to the lower deck, blew 4x6 ft area and could hear the power winding down. After 10 minutes of use I stopped. Still had area left on the lower deck, could not finish. At that point my hairdryer on low setting would have done a better job. Definetly will be returning this.

They should call this thing "The Gentle Breeze," because that's what it delivers. It's like a kid's toy. Oh, and the charge indicator never shows full - and I just bought this thing. This thing is going back to the store.

I like this for the front lawn and blowing the leaves into the street for pickup. It also works on the driveway, easier than raking or sweeping. I have other B&D tools and can switch out batteries as I need them so it is OK. Takes 3 batteries to do the backyard. It is pretty light weight and well balanced.

I was getting tired of dragging out a 100' extension cord wrapped up on a plastic holder every week after cutting the lawn to run my sweeper/blower!! I was a little leery that this small unit wouldn't give me enough power to blow the areas clean of cut grass. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it and it had plenty of "Blow Power" to get the job done. And my arms also thank it for being so light compared to my other Black and Decker Electric Sweeper unit. I highly recommend this Sweeper, the battery also lasts a good amount of time. I've never had to change it before the job was done. I do have a B&D Trimmer that is also battery powered, so I have 3 batteries all charged up and only need two for the jobs I do around the house every week.

I bought a B & D electric weed whacker that uses the same battery as this blower so I thought them to be a good combination. I'm very happy with the weed whacker, but the blower...big mistake! Don't do it. This thing just doesn't have enough power. If you are hoping to blow any leaves out of your gardens - forget it! It's good for very light work only (i.e. grass clippings from the driveway). Do yourself a favor and get something with more power. Personally, I feel like I wasted my money on this one. Bummer.

Easy to use and easy to start - satisfied with the power - lightweight (even grandma uses it), pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material with which it is built - only negatives are 1) that the battery drains relatively quickly and there is no indication when it is getting low; 2) long time to charge battery.

This product is deffinatly not worth spending your money on. I bought this for my parents to make it easier for them while cleaning the yard of leaves. Instead this product barely had enough power to blow the leaves and they found it less time consuming to just rake the leaves then to use the blower. I would not recommend this blower to any of my friends because just like us they would have to return it. I guess its true you get what you pay for.

I have one and it is great!!! But people don't seem to understand what it is to be used for. Read the description, people....it is a sweeper NOT a leaf blower. It is great at cleaning up on decks, patios, driveways, etc......but useless for moving leaves on the lawn.

This is a great item. I am a senior & this sweeper is light weight & easy to use. Cleared the driveway in minutes and the patio too. I have the trimmer and the batteries are interchangeable so I always have spares.

Bought this for my father-in-law, but he ended up returning and exchanging for a corded model. Battery one just did not have enough power.
