Followed all the information prior to painting my driveway, kept all traffic off for 3 days, and did not park my car on drive for 8 days, as per can instructions.
Took my car out and it left tire marks , took my bike out and it left tire marks. Its now two weeks in and still leaving tire marks. I will have to re paint the whole thing again

Hi carole1960,
Thank you for reviewing Behr 1-Part Epoxy. I’m terribly sorry to hear about the tire mark issue you’re experiencing. It certainly isn’t the performance we’ve come to expect from 1-Part Epoxy, and I completely understand your disappointment. I want to collect a bit of information about your project and find the best way to help.
Before recoating, I recommend trying to clean the tire marks with soap and water or a concrete cleaner/degreaser.
I emailed you directly and look forward to hearing back from you! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Kindest regards,
Doris Web Care

Will not buy this paint again!!
I have been a Behr customer for a long time and have never had any major issues till now. I bought this paint and applied it to my garage just as directed by the manufacture. I was around 30 days after applying the paint to my garage floor. I saw in the news that we were going to have bad weather so I decided to put my wife's car in the garage for the first time. The whole time prior to putting the car in the garage there has been only light foot traffic and the floor looked really good. Once the car was in the garage and moved out, the tires of the car removed all the paint where it was sitting. I had to hire a professional painter to come in and remove the paint and clean the floor to apply a different brand of paint, which cost me triple of what my original investment was. A project that I was very excited about turned into a nightmare over night.

Hi there,
Thank you for your review, and I am sorry to hear the paint peeled off in such a short amount of time. I can assure you this isn’t normal and would like to make things right. However, to fix the issue, we would have recommended removing any of the loose coating by sanding it off. Afterward, spot etching and spot priming with our Bonding Primer. Once done, do touch-ups with the paint. Even though the problem has been resolved, I will send you a separate email to assist you further. Please keep an eye out for it, as it tends to go to your junk inbox. –Edith

Comes off easily with any tire
I bought this paint and followed every instruction. etched the concrete, applied primer and did two coats of the BEHR concrete and garage floor paint in a crisscross pattern.
After 7 days I started moving the garage furniture inside the garage and after 12 days I started to put my car and motorcycle inside.
After a couple of days the paint started to peel off. both under the car and under the motorcycle.
Waste of money if I need to retouch every month the garage.

easy to apply and finished perfectly
IF THE PREPARATION IS DONE PROPERLY then you will have a great result.
I cleaned and etched, allowed a few days to dry, then did 2 coats of primer/sealer, again at least a few day to dry thoroughly. Only then did I start the actual finish application. Interior basement floor that was clean concrete with no hydrostatic pressure(dampness). If you don't prep. properly or apply to a damp floor you will have issues.

Garage floor painting
Allowed to dry for 10 days. Paint came off where tires were in contact with paint. Also water from a/c bubbled the paint. This occurred 20 days after painting. Would never use again. Painting performed in Florida under perfect painting weather.

Amazing performance and durability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an ongoing problem with my cement porch and sidewalk leading to the front door. Each winter I would get frost heaves that would cause my walk way to crack then crumble. Last spring I received an email ad from BEHR about the concrete & garage floor paint so I trotted on down to my local HOME DEPOT and purchased 1 gallon. I also bought some pre-mixed cement repair and went to work. After completing all the patches I applied the BEHR paint and low and behold I have had NO FROST HEAVES OR DAMAGE TO MY SIDEWALK THIS YEAR. As I’m writing today it is -3degrees outside and my paint has held up admirably. THANK YOU BEHR for providing a solution for a real nagging problem!

Great Color!

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coating basement and laundry floor thought this would be the best product as I had concerns the floor would be slippery. Granite grip was not easy to apply and had terrible coverage so after the first gallon I changed to the concrete floor and patio paint. This applies like paint looked great but I found it chipped easily not as in the products was just falling off but moving things back into place I got some chipping. Saved main area for last and switched again - went with 1 party epoxy. Excellent results. Went on like paint and so far no chipping at all (did similar rearranging as other room but did not get the little chips). 1 part epoxy is the best of the three.

Horrible
We got the epoxy paint along with the 880 primer for a floor in our house. Followed the instructions exactly like it said on the can. We waited 96 hours before going into the room after we painted it. Needless to say, within 3 weeks it started chipping up.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that your floor is peeling up so soon. This is not typical. I recommend removing the loose coating, spot etching, spot priming, and touching up the affected areas. I'll reach out to you in a private email to provide additional tips.

Common Sense
I researched the various options and choice this to do oour garage floor due to cost, ratings. I found it easy to apply the tough part was the proper preparation. I did the two coats as recommended. As a professional painter explained to me and I have seen with other applications even waiting two months like I did with hot tires sitting on the paint I am getting some lifting of the paint. Overall the paint is a wonderful improvement to the look of the garage floor and I will see how things hold up over the winter months and wear and tear from the ice and snow.

Easy to use
After grinding off old glue from our basement floor, we used this paint to create a more finished look. We used the brick red color, which looked great with our light grey walls and white moulding. Very easy to apply and has a fairly quick dry time. Seems durable so far! A very easy change to our finished basement.

This is the first time I have used concrete paint so I wasn't sure what to expect. We ripped up carpet in our basement storage room and painted the concrete floor. It turned out great and was true to color.

Not happy
I use Behar paint on all my painting projects, been more than satisfied with everything until I used the one part epoxy concrete floor paint. It went on well looked nice, but traffic areas get dirty and can’t mop it clean . Too flat of a finish. Not sure what to do now. ...

Hello,
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the coating gets dirty and that the finish is not as glossy as expected. I recommend cleaning the surface with soap and water or a cleaner degreaser. You then have the option to apply the Wet Look Sealer to increase the sheen and provide additional protection and scrubbability. I'll reach out to you in a private email to ensure you have a successful project.
Best regards,
Giovanna

Driveway looks like the picture
Back in the summer I revived my driveway using Behr one part epoxy and Behr solid stain. My driveway is 12 years old and porous. It took considerably more epoxy and stain that advertised to get the coverage I wanted. I will do another coat in the spring to freshen it up but it looks great and extended the life of my driveway.

It REALLY works - when you follow directions!
We followed the instructions and it is sticking & holding up just fine through rain, salt & snow!!! BUT - last year we cheated and started parking the car after 72 hours - THIS YEAR - we followed directions and stayed off the floor for a week - and then put cardboard down for 3 weeks. The results are amazing.

So Dissapointed
I followed all instructions, etched etc and used four gallons and just like others have said it bubbles up and peels with ease. This is more like latex and not epoxy even if the Behr responses say otherwise. I am so dissapointed and have to redo EVERYTHING - tried the spot fix as recommended but there’s too much peeling for that to make sense.

Hello Shaun, I’m sorry to hear your project is bubbling and peeling. I know how disappointing it is to spend so much time on a project and not have it turn out as expected. I assure you this isn’t the experience we want any of our customers to have. Thanks for taking the time to write a review and making me aware of this issue. I recommend removing the loose coating, etching the bare surfaces, priming, and touching-up or re-coating as needed for uniformity. I’ve sent you a direct email with more details. I look forward to hearing from you. Warm Regards, Roxana N. Web Care Behr

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After hours of cleaning preparation, and 4+ layers of this paint, allowed 8+ hours to dry before parking our cars in the garage.
We soon noticed tire tracks from our cars on the newly painted garage floor. Did not think too much about the track mark as we can wipe it off, but this should not have happened with this paint. Then, after a few days, we parked our cars after driving in the rain. The paint bubbled and peeled off where the car tires rested on. And since then it peeled off where ever we parked a wet car from the rain.
It’s like the paint never painted. I actually wished I did not use this product, instead I should have just gotten a good concrete sealer and I would not have to redo the garage floor from scratch!

Hello Koda,
Thanks for taking the time to review our concrete and garage floor paint. I’m sorry to hear your garage peeled after a few days of coating it and driving your cars in the rain. I know how disappointing that experience can be and I assure you it’s not the one we want any of our customers to go through.

Looked great didn't cure right
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied Behr concrete and garage floor paint to my garage floor. It looks much better than the horrid shape it was in. I did prepping, applying, and let the product cure for ten days, three past what it said it needed to take the weight of a vehicle. I wanted to give it longer but it began to hail so in came the vehicle. When I pulled it out the next day the floor paint peeled up where three of the four tire were. I will touch up next spring and add a sealant if there is one but it would of been nice to have been done.
