I always prefer SW but in the area I’m working...
I always prefer SW but in the area I’m working on they are faraway went with HD paint and I have used other paint brands from HD but they are not as good as their marquee. It give you the color it is and cover very well no need for second coats. Always use a PVA primer on new texture or drywall.

This paint is nearly white. The product photos are very misleading. I was trying to avoid going into the store but now I need to take this back in anyway! I've learned my lesson-- never buy paint online. (My photo shows a spot of this paint next to a piece of white paper for comparison).

Color Tone
I wanted a light grey to paint our small home. I wanted a grey tone to go with our grey flooring but light as to not darken the place. I really liked this color. It’s a beautiful color but it reflects a lot as a light baby blue depending on how the light hits it. In the evening tha we painted our room, the color in person is more true to the image of the kitchen Home Depot shows here. I am reconsidering it as everyone that see it thinks it’s baby blue. Today, it’s very cloudy with chances of rain and it looks a bit more grey. The images look more grey than in person.

I have never used a paint and primer in one...
I have never used a paint and primer in one before this, and I learned that I prefer not to use this product. I am an experienced painter and I prepped the walls by thoroughly washing them and allowing them to dry. I used the right brush size and roller nap length for my bathroom walls. I mixed the paint very well before applying. The consistency of this paint is very hard to work with. As the first coat dried, it revealed MANY sparse areas (holidays). NOT the one-coat application I expected. The drying time makes it very hard to cut in the trim and blend it with the roller. This took way more time and frustration than I anticipated from premium paint. I specifically paid extra for the one-coat promise because I wanted this project to be quicker and less complicated. It turned out to be more expensive and more complicated than if I had used standard paint. I had to give it two coats to cover all the holidays, and I would have had to use two coats if I had bought standard paint.

Colors outside of this collection may require additional coats for full coverage. If you find that the paint is drying too quickly and you're working within the recommended air and surface temperatures on the label, we recommend adding up to 4 oz. of water per gallon. I have used this color and brand for our old home. We love the Provence color so much that we used it to accent Master bedroom and bath! Very easy to paint with and got away with one coat and touch ups!

BEHR Marquee is one of my go-to favorites for interior...
BEHR Marquee is one of my go-to favorites for interior painting. I give the product 5 stars; however, I give the on-line buying experience 4 stars. After a 50-minute wait for a HD customer service rep to answer the phone, I was finally told that BEHR was behind in their production of custom orders. Totally understandable given the circumstances, but HD could have mentioned that to me in an email without sacrificing my time with a long phone call. I will buy again, but maybe at the store next time.

I got this paint color for my child's room and I love it. I was hoping that it would be as nice and rich as it looked or nicer. I am glad and absolutely happy I went with my guts on all the paint I purchased. I originally purchased 3, and recently received 2 more I needed and I'm happy with all 3 colors however this may be my favorite. It is so beautiful, bright, rich and bold. What I love more is receiving it less than the estimated prediction. I am happy with Home depot for that and their quality products as well as great format on their site for easy shopping, ideas and more especially at this crucial time we are all facing in our lives. Thanks for making our lives easier and even brighter. I'll be coming for more products soon.

This paint. This paint is the greatest paint I have ever used. We purchased our house from my mother in law who had painted the kitchen red, dark red, depressing red, and one coat of this glorious paint and it was GONE. The kitchen and dining room are no longer avoided by all like they were before. I ordered two gallons thinking that’s what I needed to cover the hideous red, I was wrong, one gallon to do both rooms, flawlessly!!

home depot cannot match the paint color!
i bought a sample and used it on a wall i wanted to paint. waited one day, liked the color and coverage and went back for 5 gal to do the rest of my house. started painting with it and it dried up a totally different color! i took the $200+ 5 gal back and they replaced it with the same messed-up color! was the sample bad? thanks for making me go to your store and wating my time and $$$!!! see image. top is the sample and below is their electic blue version i was assured would be the same. i will never buy paint from hd again :(

Covered in 1 coat!
Had painted my boy’s bedroom red, white, and blue semigloss when they were little...thought it would take multiple coats to cover the highly contrasted pain colors. AMAZED! Behr marquee covered it with 1 coat!!!!

On 3rd coat and still not completely covering.
I bought the Marquee paint because of the one coat guarantee. We used a Behr color tint, English Daisy. Surfaces were previously painted and were prepped according to the directions. This has to be the worst covering paint I have ever used. We will have to buy the second gallon in order to finish our kitchen, and considering that we aren’t talking about a huge amount of space to paint (cabinets, doorways, windows take up most of the wall space), this is ridiculous. A total waste of time and money. See attached pics, I am very disappointed in this product.

Not grey in any way shape or form. It’s pink.
Terrible color. I’d have been happy with a nice shade of light grey. NOT even close. NOT usable. I have no desire at all to have a pink bedroom.

To verify if the color was mixed correctly, we’d suggest checking that the physical color swatch matches the paint dab on the lid of your paint can. If they match, the paint was mixed correctly, and the color is correct. And in cases like this, the best solution would be to recoat in a different color. If the swatch doesn’t match the dab on your can’s lid, the color was incorrectly mixed. And we’d suggest recoating with new paint tinted to the correct color. Affordable, easy, and looks beautiful!

Behr marquee paint semi gloss
I was looking for a change in my room, I wanted to try out our new paint which was the behr marquee semigloss you also can get it in flat or gloss. (It said only one coat ) I had a dark color which was brown and teal so I bought this paint home and painted my room one stroke covered the brown it did not bleed through! ( barely ) any smell ,dries quickly. One can covered 1 room did not do ceiling would say (thumbs up )for this paint is does what it says. Love it !!!! Thank you for making it more easier for me! I give this 1 to 10 this is surely 10”!!!!!!!
