Bought 2 back to back. Both didn't work. Got a different brand and it worked.

Could not find one with a bottom bracket to attach to my 2006 Ariens 42" Riding Mower until I went into Home Depot and they had this one. I wish it did not have the back bracket as it prevents me from putting it on the location exactly but I am able to attach it. Works great to start the motor!

Of the 3 possibilities to solve my problem, this universal product was the cheapest and worked! The fact that there is a universal substitute available indicates this is a common problem.

Fit the XT1 easily, had to use different screws then the one that held the previous solenoid. Easy install, worked immediately.

Did not work when I installed it but I don’t think it had anything to do with your product

Universal Solenoid fit perfectly on the Craftsman riding lawnmower I was working on. Easy mounting using existing holes and hardware.
