this product is really good and the price is excellent .

The range hood is a great option for a kitchen with no upper cabinets. It requires an 8 inch duct and mine came with a 6 inch in in spite of the installation directions. other than that it was easy to install

fan is quiet, light is bright enough was easy to install too

the key pad stops working and the light stopped working. It is npt the boulb. Home depot did nothing to help !

I purchased this for $350 together with the installation for another $80. But when I called the installers they said it would actually cost $300 - $500 to install this specific model. So I decided to install it myself. It was not easy! To install it properly, you have to tear down a section of your kitchen's drywall to add support beams. So be prepared to invest in carpentry tools like a dry wall saw, a wood saw, drills etc And materials like wood, brackets, drywall and paint.. The electrical part of it was not as hard, but it was not a matter of just plugging it to an outlet wall. You have to splice wires, and know how to work with conduits and junction boxes. But if done properly, the work is worth it. It's small, quiet, beautiful and functions pretty good.

Contractor installed - but my understanding if you do not have lots of space (I did not need the extension part but can not remove it) hard to get a tight fit to the ceiling. Had to place tape to the underside and pull. Like everyone else has said it could use a better light. But for the money and looks worth buying.

While this is what I wanted at the price, I could not complete the installation due to the face they changed the vent and will not produce a new vent for 6-8 months.......so for 6-8 months I have to not use or complete the installation. When contacting Home Depot and the mfg. it was a loop - call Home Depot, no call the mfg.........so all I can do is continue to look on line for the replacement vent and hope I have not purchased a white elephant!

This 30" hood range came with a 30.5" glass piece which made it too wide for the space between my cabinets. I could not use it because of the additional size - which made it too wide to fit between existing cabinets So difficult to install in a remodel situation. Remodeler

When the hood was finally put up it is not a stainless steel look at all and there is writing on the outer side of the hood.

The product is beautiful, easy to install and surprisingly quiet. The installation provided an instant upgrade to my small kitchen. I did a substantial amount of comparison shopping and hands down. this product was the most affordable . It has a high end look that far exceeds the cost. I would strongly endorse this product .

We have already installed this range hood and it looks AWESOME. Everyone comments on how they like it. It was easy to install 2 base screws. As long as you already have electric running to the range hood area. Since I never had a range hood we didn't have electric or light over the stove. Even though some of the other reviews said the light was not good enough. It is fine since I went from No light to that light, it is better than nothing which is what I had before. I must say that the only downside is that the glass does require more attention that a regular metal one. The fan is fine, works great and not so loud. I would recommend this to others plus I got it on sale

It is so quiet and it looks fantastic in our newly remodeled kitchen. Compared to other hoods around the same price this one exceeded our expectations.

For the price I am very happy with this product. I didn't want to spend $750 on a hood vent, and this one fit the bill. I've had it in place for two weeks so I'm unsure how energy efficient it is. I seared some pork chops on a high heat which naturally produced smoke. On low setting the hood vent is pretty quiet, but once I turned it up to high the room was cleared of smoke within two minutes. I definitely would recommend this product! My contractor installed, therefore I can't speak to easy installation.

Had to special order, looks great , but the hood shaft is 2 pieces, rattles and is too loud.

We required a specific type of hood for the area we were adding the stove This Dekor Glass 30 in. wall mount decorative hood filled the bill. We are very happy with the product and its attractiveness. Delighted to see it on several remodeling shows on the Home and Garden TV.

I have had this unit for 4 years now. After the second year, the fan button - and + stopped working properly. You have to press the button so hard that it feels like your thumb is going to poke a hole in the steel cover.

This range hood was easy to install and looks fancy.

This item is top of the line. It is Stainless Steel and glass. Easy to install. Energy efficient. A great value for the cost.

I love the way it looks and functions. Our electrician had never seen a range hood like this before but found the installation easy. The fan is the best I have ever used and I do not think it is any louder on high than my old one. It does however function 50 times better. I get great comments on it all the time. I found this purchase about $200.00 cheaper than I could buy the same range hood from competitors.

I like the look of the range but, one the lighting is very dim two its very loud when set to max and dosent seem to really draw the air to the vent.

We have had this installed for almost 3 years now and it really draws the air nicely on medium speed. However, when cooking on more than one burner, you may need it on high. Then it REALLY does the job for us. The light was NOT bright enough for me either. Maximum wattage is 40 watts (for heat reasons). I simply replaced the bulb from the very beginning.... with a simple 40 watt candelabra HALOGEN bulb. (Make sure to check the bulb "length" not every brand works, some are a hair bit too long) MUCH brighter now, and will NOT hurt the socket. Been using halogens in it since we installed it. About 50% more usable light! We use the fan a lot, because smoking in the house is ONLY allowed at the stove, with the fan on. So, the motor is just starting to wear out. New motor is about $100, so.... for how much we use it, that's understandable. High "is" noisy, but I believe it's because of the EXTREME draw of air on high (squirrel cage motor, like your furnace may have.... but mini version).

Product was all we had desired. Wish the lighting was a bit brighter but not enough to derate the product.
