This item fit easily into the end of the drain pipe. My only issue was that ordering it online, it said it would be black, matching the pipe, but when it arrived, it was bright green.

What can i say. I put the end cap into the 4inch pc of perf pipe and it fit.

I installed this plug on the 4" flex PVC pipe that carries rooftop downspout drainage away from the house. During heavy downpours, this plug restricted flow and cause the downspout to backup. It will work best in low to medium flow situations. I ended up using wire mesh to cover the end of the pipe.
