Does not fit properly into extension

Super product! Has holes to allow water flow but keeps out critters. Each hole is precision molded and equally spaced - wow, amazing technology. And it’s green! I may buy more for straining spaghetti noodles in the kitchen... so many others uses to consider.

This is a viable end cap for 4inch drainage systems. I used downspout screws to fasten the cap to the drainage tube to keep it from being ejected because of water flow. One could use "zip" ties as well.

This drainage system is used along foundations to wick off water and insure that the cellars are kept dry.

I wish the item would have been available in black. It fits perfectly, but the rest of the housing is black.

Home Depot should be ashamed to charge over $5 for this piece of plastic. I honestly did not notice the cost until I was reviewing my receipt as I was walking out of the store wondering why my bill seemed a little high. I would not have bought them if I was paying closer attention to the price. I almost always look at price except in this case when I figured the caps could not been more that $2 each.

This perforated end plug is everything I've ever sought in such a device. Besides being so good looking, it is so efficient in keeping debris out that I take my friends and family to see it every time they come over. In addition to being life changing, I strongly recommend this end-plug.

It's a bit smaller than the hole in the PVC drainage pipe sold by home depot so it "falls" into the pipe a bit.

So far so good. Hope it doesn’t clog up

Inexpensive and gets the job done. Since this plugs inside of the tubing (I think it would have been better if it went over the 4" tubing), we used PVC tile tape to secure the plug to the drainage pipe ensuring that frogs and debris do not find a home inside of our french drain.

Perfect for my application

Easy to install. Fits with flange in or out. Drains as advertised.

These were perfect for the 4" pipes outside my basement windows in the window well.I needed "plugs" instead of "caps", as the pipes were very close to the windows, so there was no tolerance for "hang over". These fit right into the pipes, no problems.

1) it’s green, not black 2) it doesn’t stay on the pipe so you must use epoxy to secure, otherwise it washes away

It works they way it is supposed to work, I gave it four stars because it was green not gray as shown.

the cap snapped on easily and stayed in place. I used one cap on the underground end, and will use another cap at th discharge end to keep rodents and other critters out of the drain line.

I didn't notice this was an internal plug when ordering, but it worked fine. The external end cap would have worked in the same fashion if it had holes drilled in it. You may want to stretch and tie some of the sock from the sock pipe over it, if using sock pipe.
