Excellent top soil, we were very happy with the quality and delivery.

The dirt was compost, nice dark dirt with some organic material (wood chips).

My only disappointment is all the rules on where and when and how they dump. I understand why they have the rules but I can be annoyed that this wasn't dumped directly in my backyard thus only 4 stars. My load of topsoil was beautiful. Fairly uniform and screened fairly well. I had many options and the reason for me that ended up being the 'key' factor was the free delivery. Competition for selling dirt has razor thing margins I suppose and that put them ahead in pricing for product and services rendered.

BE CAREFUL with these people. On the top soil order I got, 1/2 of it was clay.

The topsoil I received in MA was excellent quality, just dark soil, nothing else. The scheduled delivery day was postponed I discovered after calling twice - someone's vehicle broke down and the dispatcher wasn't notified, so they couldn't notify me. They did, however, deliver early the next day, a Saturday, which I appreciated. I'd order again!

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was very concerned with the 5 yd order I made, but I couldn't be any happier with the product. At least in my area (Avon, MA), this top soil was finely screened and dark superior quality. I will definitely order this again in the future.

We received a very high quality topsoil. It was delivered at a time and day we preferred and was dropped off at a place where we requested it to be delivered. We ordered it along with the compost and we are happy with the quality of compost as well. I think it depends a lot on who is the supplier.

I went to Home Depot. To order topsoil. I explained what I needed. And he told me that I need 10 yd.³. So I said OK. so when I got home .Then I got to looking. 11 yd.³ is the same price. as 10yd... so whoever sees this review needs to keep that in mind. I know that we have the coronavirus right now. So when you go to the store everything is crazy right now anyway.... but they could've brought me .R told me about the price. Which I stated above..... The driver was great. He put the topsoil where I asked him to. I did find a plastic bottle. And rubber pieces in the topsoil. meanwhile back at the ranch. Just do your research. Before you go to Home Depot. And tell them that you need topsoil......

Very happy with the soil, it did not have any debris in it. Just soil no rocks or sticks. Good buy!

Should not sale this as topsoil with such an inferior quality and lumps hard to break apart.

Dont feel like this was top soil. I bought it for flower bed and as level base for above ground pool. Luckly my husband id OCD about somethings and while making sure everything was level found lots of sticks and a NAIL in it. Depends on what you need it for i guess

Ordered 10 cubic yards.Delivery was quick and on time.The driver was nice.Soil was of good quality.I am happy with the product.

Delivery came 3 days earlier than estimated. Which worked out well. The delivery was well organized from start to finish. I would order again if needed.

I live in the Chicago suburbs of Illinois. I was expecting black top soil like I have in the back yard. That is exactly what was delivered. From filling out the Home Depot web page with my purchase of 5 yards to the delivery at the exact spot in my driveway I requested, all went very well. The delivery driver was courteous and helpful. The delivery was "touches" (It is a dump truck full of dirt after all). It was pulverized and screened and very easy to shovel into a wheel barrow. Good stuff. I highly recommend this service if you need top soil.

Have invoices for the amount of top soil I received. I canceled part of the order when I realized that I ordered why too much. Been in contact with Garrick but no resolution to date.

top soil was real soil no debris or rocks. trasnsporting company was on time and great

They delivered this after we had rain in excess of 12 inches so it was very wet. There was a large amount wood chips that I considered excessive. I would confirm where the soil is coming from before ordering this again

Dirt was great and just what we wanted

Absolute crap. It's 100% compost. It's not soil at all, not native to the region. I ordered compost and some topsoil. There is literally no difference whatsoever in the piles. But they certainly charged me different prices.

Good dirt

Came earlier than promised. Soil looks fine. Driver could not have been nicer. Very simple process and I think it was a good value. Very happy.

We live in Arkansas so there is plenty of clay around. We got what we wanted with minimal clay in the dirt pile. We ordered 8 cu ft of top soil. We would order again.

Top soil was exactly was expected and delivered on time.
