These do not come with a steel insert. Also, there are no clips.... Instead they come with stick on Velcro pads. There is no way these can hold 100lbs as advertised, very thin

Sturdy product. Way better than the ones on the shelf. Thick, translucent material lets the light in, keeps leaves and debris out, and makes the water roll right off.

The cover was a great fit and easy to install. The quality of material and construction is top notch. I expect this to last multiple decades easily. Would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option as one of the installation screw caps was not burred out completely and I had to basically force it on the best I could. The other two screws and caps were perfectly fine, so it's not a huge issue.

I needed high quality window well cover and after examining my neighbors, she had a Shape Products Economy Plastic Round Window Well Cover 48"W x 22". I was impressed. I thought I would upgrade to Shape Products 48 in. x 22 in. Polycarbonate Circular Window Well Cover. I ordered it online on 05/26/2017 and it was delivered on May 31. A pleasant online experience, Thank you Home Depot. Product was not the quality of the economy model. It had a quite a few blemishes in it. I called Shape Products and spoke with Matt B on 6/1. He sent a replacement and it was worst than the first. They got back the original and the manufacturing dept said this is the way they are. Today is 6/21 the case is closed with a big thumbs down. Bummer I really looked forward to a high quality window well cover from Shape Products.

Fit like a glove, sturdy and safe even with my 10lb dog walking on it.

I am very disappointed on how flimsy the product is.

Works as intended. Ample size. Extends beyond window well. Secured easily.

We ordered this item twice and had to return it both times. The description says it has a steel rod to make it heavier. Neither shipment had the rod. ?

The picture indicates two metal braces, but despite ordering, returning, and reordering again, the cover only comes with the backside cross-brace.

Expensive but better than most.
