Definitely high value for decent price point. Sturdy construction, heavy as expected. Like the single dripping pan all in Stainless Steel, very simple hook up and very little assembly needed. Natural Gas conversion kit included on my purchase (not planning on using it). Recommended grill for Veradek Outdoor Kitchen cabinet, which gives a very modern and minimal look.

The online product description says natural gas conversion kit included. However, when I pick it up, the box says sold separately. I am very unhappy with my experience at Home Depot.

Overall I’m satisfied with the grill. It is nicely made and is of high quality. The only issue I had is the supplied gas line had an issue and I was only able to get about 20% heating from grill burners. Luckily I was replacing an older grill and was able to take the gas the line from the old grill and use it which resolved the issue. Downside is this cost me about an hour of trouble shooting and crawling under my outdoor kitchen Cabnet’s. The grill burners are very good and the heat up time is extremely fast. Although I didn’t need it I think it’s worth mentioning they also include the conversion for natural gas.

After second use the grill grate weld points on center grill grate broke and now I have a gap in the center grill grate. Grill looks good and works fine but quality is not what I come to expect from this brand.

I recently bought this KitchenAid grill for a new outdoor area, due to the cost and looks. I am an avid barbecue griller, and even though I rather grill with coal, from time to time I like the convenience of the gas grill. I really like the design and overall look. The quality should be improved by a lot. The parts are flimsy and the grill grates were not welded squared. It's a good value for the money paid I guess.

Overall cooks food fine. Converted it to natural gas and gets hot quickly as well. Issue anyone is going to have is the stainless steel grill grates. They will not last more than two years (see picture below). They warranty them for three years, but if you cannot produce a receipt for them you will have to purchase new ones and pay shipping. So, buy the grill and plan on replacing grill gates every couple years and KEEP your receipt.

This is a very good looking grill and priced well for what it is. I have had it for a couple years and it’s been ok. Don’t expect amazing searing or grilling abilities like on higher dollar grills. If I had to do it again I would have spent a little more and got a better grill. Not a bad grill for under $1k.

Made in China, low quality stainless steel. I'm a general contractor trouble shooting a customer's 740 grill in Steamboat Springs. Purchased through Home Depot Avon, CO. The grill's firebox back overheated and expanded pulling burner tubes off of burner jets. Grates, and burner tubes fell into bottom, wires melted and its basically trashed. Thank Gawd it didn't blow up. A True Fire Hazard. Installed 2 years ago and used by vacation homeowner only. Have spent some 4 hours thus far talking to a company NOT KITCHENAID on warranty service. Plus an additional two hours shoveling snow to get yet another picture requested. 30 some pics sent thus far. They don't return calls, ask for the same pictures over and over again then state they are not the decision makers, just the info gatherers. Total cow manure. Based on this would not buy a Kitchenaid product if it were free.

After I read other reviews stating that they had received the KitchenAid grill in damaged conditions, I thought, oh well, they were probably unlucky. But since the price was right and there were some positive reviews, I went ahead and purchased the grill and professional installation. The grill arrived in a box that looked in good condition, but the grill inside was pretty banged up. There were dents in the lid, handlebar and some other areas in the back of the grill. The installer told me that it has frequently seen similar issues with this make and model. I called the company Nexgrill who is the manufacturer of the KitchenAid Grill. They were helpful and the person I spoke with said he will send me new parts to replace the dented ones. I haven't seen the part yet (it's been 3 weeks since I called), but I assume they will show up soon. Also, as a an fyi, if you hire Home Depot's installation contractor, their responsibility is only to assemble the grill, they will not hook it up to the propane tank or gas. I haven't taken the grill for a good test ride yet. I cooked a few hot dogs which turned out fine. Will I recommend this product? Yes, I think it will be a good grill once I receive the new parts.

This is a reasonable product with lousiest possible packing. The product is heavy enough requiring two people to handle to be safe. However, it was send to me with UPS without enough instruction for special handling. There wasn't enough protection on the edges causing large dent on the top of the grill. I had to call home depot to get a replacement which they promptly did. However, the new piece delivered had dent too! This time I was luckier that the dent is not as large as the first piece. My contractor was running out of time to install and I had to stick with the dented grill. Home depot gave me some discount for keeping the damaged product but the overall experience was painful and frustrating which reflects in my rating. I wonder why the seller or Home Depot take this up seriously and fix a problem just by adding extra enforcing at the edges! If you want to buy this product, make sure you have enough time to account for return and replacement. Other than the dent, I found this grill works fine so far and the price is not heavy either.

grill is awesome, works great only issue is one of the grill pieces on the inside was broken when I received it. i have been trying to get a replacement from home depot but i am having problems with them

After my contractor told me I needed to purchase a built in BBQ grill for my patio, I began an extensive online search for the best grill for my small needs (he had suggested I buy one that was $1,500). I came across this one in a blog comparison and was very happy to see that is was fully welded heavy gauge stainless steel with decent reviews. It looks beautiful in my new BBQ island. So many people, immediately upon seeing it, assumed I had paid over a $1,000 for it! All the men had to open it up, feel the weight of the lid, check out the interior and the burners. Their ideas about the higher the cost = better were crushed especially my contractor! This BBQ is perfect for me and the use it will get with just a few parties every year, as well as the small amount I will cook for dinner a few times a month. We have used it twice now, with delicious outcomes. No issues with uneven temperature, being hard to start or convenience of use.

I really wanted to like this grill, it looks good, definitely lightweight materials. For what it's worth, definitely overpriced. However, it's one of the more "affordable" brands, Nextgrill to be exact. Biggest problem is I've barely put the grill in for less than a week, we had some light shower overnight and this afternoon I went out to wipe off the watermarks preparing for the weekend and I found rust on the lid already. Too late for me to return now, box was tossed and grill's been fired up sad part is, I only fired it up to test functionality. I haven't even thrown a steak on it yet. :( And did I mentioned that I'm getting condensation in the thermometer already? All from just a few sprinkles. Also, the unit came with the support tabs bent out of shape, the two sides were ok but the back looks like tidal waves. I tried to bend it back as much as possible and decided to live with it and not ship it back due to the size and weight of it. I'll just watch this one rust away and bite the bullet on something of more quality in a few years.

I titled my review this way because it was broken the first time I turned it on. The rotisserie burner was cracked and wouldn't stay lit and two of the ceramic rear burners were cracked. I called the NexGrill number in the back of the grill manual (thats right, not related to Home Depot or Kitchenaid) and they were very polite and quick to offer to send a new burner in 6-10 business days. Great, but doesn't help me rotisserie the bird I bought for my new grill tonight. The burner should have been packaged separately and with better packaging to avoid this issue.

Had this installed a couple of days ago and cooked our first meal on it tonight. The pork tenderloin the wife cooked came out perfect and I attribute part of this to the 4 burner arrangement that gives an even heat distribution. The all stainless construction is very well engineered and the price is unbeatable. I am extremely happy and would highly recommend anyone looking for a 30" drop-in take a real close look at this one. I think you'll come to the same conclusion as me...great quality, great design, great price. The only drawback was that it had to be ordered and that took more time than if it would have been available in store.

Poor quality pot metal knobs corroded almost immediately. Internals are made very cheaply. Rusted and started to disintegrate prematurely. I do not recommend if you care about longevity

It's never been used and immediately started to rust. I have tried with Home Depot & the manufacturer to try and get it replaced. Horrible quality

grill is a good size and looks nice. Plumber had some issues with natural gas conversion. Burners had to be regulated to get good gas flow.

Dimensions are totally off. It is NOT 25.70 as it states! Would not come pick up because it was no longer in a box but we had to take it out of the box to find out that it was not 25.70 inches..

Replacing the exact same grill which lasted 10 years. Great quality.

Worked well for 7 years of light use. Recently, the rear of the grill box expanded and the burners and deflectors would no longer fit. For the price it wasn’t really a bad purchase.

Missing parts in the conversation kit. Now range won't work until I get the conversation pieces to regulate the flow of gas.
