Paint went right under it, sooo angry and frustrated! Not good when using on ceiling/walls with texture. Now need to fix it somehow!

Works great on walls, ceiling and door knobs.

This stuff is garbage. Doesn't matter how careful you are, it will let paint bleed behind, it will rip off the new paint, it won't remove cleanly, it will tear with no warning. Plan on total frustration and tons of touch ups.

I was using Scotch Original. Grabbed Scotch Blue instead. Got the entire room masked. Turned to check if I missed anything, and the tape was peeling off the doorframes and baseboards! Went back and pressed it down but it didn't stay at all. I had a roll of Scotch Delicate so used that. No problem. It stuck really well. I would never buy this junk again. Be careful because the "Original" and "Blue" look exactly the same! Photos attached. I included one photo of the Delicate and Blue.

Easy to use, easy to apply, looks great. Durability unknown just yet.

I would NEVER spend the money for this garbage again. It is way too sticky, and removes paint you hoped to keep and peels drywall. It also rips at crazy angles and you have to dig in with your fingernail to start the torn piece. It has costed me a TON of work on this project and extra time I never planned to spend. This ruined my day. I have many more pictures to show what this did, but it only let's me load one.

I thought this would give me nice clean lines down my feature wall. Very disappointed when I removed it and it took all my paint as well.

This tape is too strong. It peaked off a lot of paint. Buy a different brand. Maybe mine was a bad batch. But still I need to paint with a fine brush. This tape was supposed to save me time but it made me spend more time.

Spraying a ceiling after walls were painted, taped plastic to the painted walls, actually to go back and staple the plastic/ tape to the walls because it wasn't sticking. Walls were painted just over a month ago. Now, trying to spray the ceiling and at almost every place the I spray were the ceiling and wall meet, the tape curls up. I took sever pictures with my phone, but could only load 1. Room temperature is 65 degrees. Never again will I use this worthless tape. Costing me more time to use than its worth!!!

Although I'm not an experienced painter, I needed to use this tape to prevent paint from going to places I didn't want it to go and it worked out fine. Left clean, straight edges and easy to remove.

I used this to identify boxes and furniture for movers. I thought is would be noticeable and not leave any residue. It worked as intended and peeled off the cardboard boxes and plastic tubs perfectly. However, it took the veneer off a nightstand and the paper off an old tray. Since it was still sticky I saved a lot of it for reuse. I used a piece of this to hang an antenna on the wall. When I moved the antenna and peeled the tape off, it took the paint off with it. I do not recommend this product.

I tried this product for the first time and I’m very disappointed with the results. The adhesive was too strong, it peeled off the ceiling paint it was meant to protect. I had used the green tape on the same ceiling to use up what I had and had no issues. Every spot I continued on with the scotch blue ended up with damaged ceiling paint. Not only that it was difficult to remove as it kept ripping.

I think a lot. I usually use a more expensive brand (there’s only one - you could probably figure it out), but since I was doing such a huge area I thought I would try Scotch Blue. Not a great decision given I was painting baseboards on my newly refinished hardwood floors - paint seat under the edge of the tape despite the fact that I applied it appropriately. Should have spent the money for the green tape.

Helped to keep lines crisp and clean.

This tape stripped layers of paint off of our wall. Down to the Sheetrock. We thought we were done with our project, and now we need to repaint the walls because this tape stripped the paint off. So I strongly would advise using another product. This tape was all over Home Depots paint section, so we thought it would be like any other paint tape we’ve used before. Unfortunately, not the case. (The picture is just one section, sadly, this continues across the entire area we taped.)

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and was very disappointed today when I removed the tape and paint too. I painted a wall and waited 4 days before taping it off to paint adjoining wall a different color. I waited 24 hours after completing the painting to remove the tape. Very DISAPPOINTED

Great tape that does exactly what you evict it to it. Crisp paint lines with no accidental pain through when applied correctly. A bit expensive but necessary to achieve great results.

I'm painting a vintage camper and before I'm even finished taping it is already pulling away from the seam.

We bought this product, with it being name brand and using it before but we will not be buying it again. We are building/painting our new house and we of course tape off the walls to paint the trim/baseboards and such. Once it was all dried we started to remove the tape and it took of the paint and part of the sheet rock. So far this has happened in several places in different rooms. Also when peeling of the tape it seems to tear and make a tiny bit not coming off right by the trim making it hard to get off all the tape on the walls. Highly disappointed

I used this for years with no issues. This time, after using, when I removed the tape, it took chunks of paint along with it. Now I must do a lot of touch up work.

Applied as instructed for painting the next day. Unfortunately most of the tape had peeled off. Instructions should read .... Apply using firm pressure and wait overnight then reapply. Repeat as necessary.

The worst feeling is spending the extra time paint prepping and covering all the edges with painter tape just to have bleed thru in the end. This tape stopped pretty much nothing and left terribile edges. Stay away, try Frog Tape instead.

Was super excited to be done with building our new closet. Started taking off the Scotch Blue Original, that’s when my heart sank. I kept taking the take off, along with stripes of paint, and heart sinking turned to expletives. DON’T USE unless you want frustration and more work to do.

I have attempted to use this tape several times and have still had pain seep underneath and ruin my work. Im a very particular person who spends sever hours in prep making sure everything is perfectly taped and secure before I start. Imagine my surprise and frustration when I find green paint on my ceiling after everything I went through to make sure it doesn't happen. Looks like I'll be painting a ceiling now and spending more money and more importantly time. I would rather chop of my fingers that spend money on this product one more time.
