Avoid this piece of trash
I can't wait for my project to be done so I can throw this thing away. I'd throw it out now, but I'm not completely sure I'm done with it. What a waste of $13. If I use enough pressure to actually do some sanding, this sander just grabs the wall and sticks in place. If I let up a little, it swivels randomly or tries to flip. Not sure if it's an issue with me, the sander, or the paper, but the 3m sandpaper they stock next to these is horrible too (not even a full 4'x5' area done and the sheet was toast). The mesh is a little better but still inferior to the Diablo sandnet. Why HD doesn't carry the Diablo that's cut to fit this style pole sander I'll never know. Diablo 100% definitley makes it, but HD doesn't carry it even though Diablo's website says they do.
Regardless, I'll be getting a Radius 360 before I start any other projects. Too bad HD doesn't seem to want to stock those in stores, or I'd have bought that in the first place. Might have to look at an actual paint store for these supplies next time.
