I have these hanging off the rail of my boat with flowers and herbs in them. I get complements EVERYDAY. They are heavy enough to remain stable on a moving boat but light enough to carry off the boat when we go to Canada. The Canadians do not like us to bring plant material across the border. These planters were also work well on land on a deck. They are great!

We LOVE these planters, especially the "locking tabs" on the bottom that keeps them from tipping!!

I looked for a planter that would fit my vinyl railing from my composite deck. It was not available in stores, and most of the planters available on line were expensive. I found this planter and I am very happy with it. It sits on the top railing and it has a peg that fits in place under the planter so that it is secured to the railing, making it suitable for different sized rails. The planter is attractive. I would consider this a good buy because it were cheaper than the others I saw on line and the quality is good.

Poor design. Will not sit well on standard 2x4 top rail. Ment for a 2" rail.

We like this product very much because it is simple, has great design, very easy to install, does not extra space.

I was very pleased to find these planters that fit so well on our curved vinyl railing (2.75 "). The fit is nice and snug and I do not have to worry about them falling off. Most other planters only fit the standard 2x4 or 4x6 flat rails. I haven't planted my flowers in them yet due to the cool weather here in the Midwest.

Using it on an indoor railing as an herb garden. Works perfectly.

Works great on my rod iron railing. Very useful for apartments with not a lot of space for plants.

This is a very good terrace planter. The depth of the sides allows it to sit securely on the balcony railing with no fear that it could ever fall. It literally would have to be physically lifted off of the balcony for this planter to become dislodged. I wish it had been available in one of the three stores I tried, and it is not inexpensive; however, it definitely is a good product and I would recommend this for anybody with a balcony that needs a secure planter.

I was looking for something that would sit nicely on my deck railing, and these were perfect! The stabilizers do a great job of holding these pots in place and making them adjustable to fit different size rails! No complaints!

This planter is perfect for my balcony. It fits right over the railing, and the two stabilizers that come with it fit perfectly as well. It's feels pretty secure to me. Have had several windy, stormy days, and no problems.

These look great on the deck railings and after getting the first one I ordered two more. They are very secure and even with high winds they don't move. The squirrel has finally found out it can jump through them to the bird feeder. Oh well, it's a friendly squirrel. Good job on offering these planters that my Daughter first introduced them to me in one of her more expensive catalogs. I'm glad I saw these on your e-mails to me.

This is the only item I could find that fits a narrow metal railing and it works very well for about a month now (survived thunderstorm and strong wind). Only downside of this is that of the price. It is imported from Holland, and without competition = high price.

Although quality is good I think it is a bit overpriced. Purchased it since it stated it can fit over standard chain link fence rails which it does. Only drawback is that the 2 provided lower "clamps" of sorts only extend out so far. So when fully extended out so it "sandwiches" the fence between them, it still feels like it may tip over with a heavy wind. Maybe they should be longer or wider so it secures it better to a chain link fence. Will see how it holds up to strong winds this coming summer.

I have been using my planter for about 4 months now and I can't say enough about it. I really love this planter. For years I have been struggling with trying to keep my plants alive. Unfortunately, I was never able to set the plants in enough direct sunlight. This planter solved that problem. It is very sturdy and the best part is that it fits well on a 2 inch railing. The only suggestion that I would have is for the manufacturer to make the compartments a little wider so that bigger plants can fit more comfortably (like tomato plants).

This is exactly what I was looking for. I found the ones that sit on a 2x4 everywhere, but I needed something for a narrow railing. Well worth the money, and they look great!

The product is great. It's just a shame that the overnight delivery I paid quite a bit extra for turned into 6 day delivery.

I filled 3 of the oval planters with good quality silk geraniums & greens & attached them over my front porch rail. They make such a welcoming statement. A wonderful product.
