These bushes looked great for the first 6 months and were starting to shoot up. But through the winter they started to look brown. I covered them with burlap halfway through the season and watered during thaws. I think they didn't get enough water in the fall. At this point, I'm going to ask for a refund and replace with new ones. On a side note, I also bought this same shrub as "little Christmas trees" on clearance in January for $5 each and planted them on a warmer winter day. They are holding much better!

Tree came well packed and looks healthy. Hopefully it grows well!

They weren’t as big as described and they looked in poor shape when they arrived.

Trees were healthy and carefully packaged. Will definitelyy purchase again in the Spring.

Died in 2 weeks after planting.

I really love these, can't wait for them to get big. They were planted about a month ago and they are doing great.

this is an update of trees bought last fall....bought these trees last year..they all came packaged well and looking good...got them in the ground,did well until spring..all trees were very brown and not looking well..I think this is more because of the horrible winter we had and all the constant rain we have gotten this year....I am leaving them planted as is..they seem to be trying to make a come back..In the meantime I ordered 9 more and staggered them behind the ones already planted...we will see what happens..

Green the entire first year and winter. This spring hit and every single one died. Not sure what happened. Home Depot was great though and gave me full refund.

The plants are a good size

Yes this hybrid of the Western Red Cedar is a true fast grower rich green summer foliage colour, with some bronzing in cold winter areas like a zone 5 like mine , but still green,and fast growth with no seed , or cone set as it is a hybrid cross,with the Japanese Standishi cedar. This will out grow the species in speed so if you need a privacy row , or just want some stand alone spectacular trees this this tree fills the bill. Also as it grows taller if left unpruned the foliage makes a beautiful lacy open look not stiff,and formal. Be aware this is a tree,and so if you think it will stay small like a shrub , no , this is a tall speciman tree,a super beautiful addition to any property. Go for it .

I bought 9 of these trees, packaging was very well done, each plant was well watered with moist newspaper around the top of each pot.Trees came placed together in the box with packing peanuts.all 9 trees are in the ground and look to be doing very well...I want sure about ordering trees online without being able to see them but I am very satisfied and will be ordering more....

Trees arrived in box with foam peanuts to keep safe. Pots wrapped in plastic to hold in moisture. All trees were in good shape overall. I ordered 8 total. 1 of them was a little smaller and maybe not as healthy looking as the other 7, but still ok. Planted 2 weeks ago. Looking good.

Trees are roughly 18-20” high. Fresh, vibrant. Well packaged—in pots, wrapped in damp newsprint taped to the pot. Styrofoam peanuts for protection. Very nice for the price. Pleased.

Healthy Plants Are Doing Great.

These plants arrived quicker than expected. They where well package and protected. I’m very pleased.

I'm pleased with the trees. I wish they had the planting instructions came with another set of trees I bought. And I was unclear about how much sun they can handle. The trees that get over six hours are going brown and wilting. But, it's been pretty hot. I'm sure they'll survive.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Hope it grows 3ft a year like it stated.

These are small almost like liners. Too expensive but that's what I expected from Home Depot and not someone who is familiar with Green Giants.
