Got the job done.

Useless. Do not waste your time. The lock fails continually under load. Without a functioning lock, then the handle will not turn the metal snake, rendering the tool useless. Purchase one with a simple, fool-proof thumb screw. I will return this item.

I bought this to do the simple task of removing lint from a washing machine stand pipe. It is a job that takes practically no torque whatsoever. The cable locking mechanism is a joke. It is a sliding bar that is weighted on the end that unlocks the cable and allows it to move. That means as soon as you begin to spin the auger, the centrifugal force opens the locking bar, rendering it and the entire tool useless. Don't waste your time or money. Hardly worth the gasoline to drive back to the store to return it.

Piece of JUNK!! I fought with this thing the entire time.. Total waste of money, pass on this one.. The buyer who ordered this stuff needs a new job in something OTHER than purchasing..

Excellent product for the price

Web site claims not sold in stores,went to home depot in Gloucester Virginia to see what I could get to unclog washer drain,ended up purchasing this,worked great,they had 11 of them.I believe they just want people to buy more expensive u its !!

Did not do the trick.

Falls apart and makes what should be a one person job a two person shore.

The drill was easy to use but the plastic seemed really cheap. You have to screw the wing screw to tighten on the cable so that you can unplug or push through the pipes. After doing that a few times the plastic gave out and I could no longer use it.

I bought the wrong size. The product was correct type for what was built for.

It worked out fine but the problem was worse than we thought and we had to call a plumber in to get the job finished. It will be handy the next time we need it.

It is a very useful tool

Didn't work at all. It was difficult to use. Save yourself some aggravation and spend the extra money and get a better one.

The Auger had trouble getting past 90 degree turns in the pipe that was stopped up and was unable to reach the area that was blocked. We were finally able to break up the blockage by pouring Chlorine in the pipe and then using a wet & dry vacuum cleaner to suck on the end of the pipe. It took about 20 minutes for the chlorine to break up the blockage enough for the vacuum to pull it out.

Cable to small and weak. It bound up and twisted on almost no load. I have worked as plumber and drain clearing. For what i paid i did not expect much and it did work, but with cable kinked i just junked it.i own a Ridgid i just couldn't find it.

Very Flexable it did a great job on my built in house vacuum that has been jammed since Christmas
