worked very well and cheaper then a new hose!!

thought i could use them to repair expandable hoses but it was difficult stretching the hose onto the 1/2" repair tube. then when i succeeded, tightening the repair screws stripped the plastic screw holes. i wound up using hose clamps.

It works and importantly it prolongs use of hose. Easy to install but make sure it is tight.

It was simple and easy to use. I had my hose fixed in about five minutes.

Water spills at the neck of this, and I tried all possible remedies to fix it without any success.

Home Depot really came through for me. I used these things for years.

Unfortunately, the two screws used to tighten the unit around the hose repair stripped out almost immediately. I had to find metal strap type hose bands/clamps in order to stop the hose from leaking around the part of the unit that fits inside the hose. I would not purchase these again.

if your going to use a spray nozzle don't use this. The plastic threads cannot hold any torque and stripes out. i ended up using a auto hose clamp on the male nipple.

The Ray Padula (and the soaker hose) were the wrong size and I returned them.

This connected to my hose easily and didn't leak so it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

The blue plastic clamp didn't have enough force when the screws were tightened to the max and the hose leaked. I replaced the blue plastic clamp shown in the picture, with a traditional metal hose clamp and it worked fine with no leaks. Used it to repair a flexible garden hose. Gave it only 2 stars because it doesn't work as provided. Probably should have given it one star but it did work fine with modification.

It was hard to locate a hose repair part in a local hardware store that was 1/2 inch. I ordered this on the Home Depot internet site and it was the easiest hose repair I have ever done.
