A:  Yes - it’s the same attachment approach as any standard door closer, but a better-quality and more heavy-duty unit. 

A:  It could very well be a temperature fluctuation problem but I am leaning more towards an internal problem. The piston inside and or plungers inside are worn out.

A:  Thank you for your purchase of our Wright Products V2012WH Heavy Duty Storm Door Closer. Step 3 provides this direction: Attach door bracket to closer tube with long connecting pin. With door tightly closed, hold closer and door bracket against door in a level position. Pencil outline of door bracket onto door. Remove door bracket from closer and place it on door in previously marked location, making sure that bracket is in the correct position. Mark and drill (2) 1/8” pilot holes. CAUTION: Do not drill holes all the way through the door. Fasten door bracket to door with short screws. Reconnect door bracket to closer with long connecting pin.

A:  Thank you for your purchase of our Wright Products Heavy Duty Closer. Nothing wrong with it, there is an internal bumper spring that you will hear slide back and forth when tipped up and down.

A:  If installed as directed all Wright Products storm and screen door closers will open to a full 90 degrees.

A:  No. If it is not fully closed.

A:  Thank you for your interest in our Wright Products Tap N Go Door Closer. Our storm and screen door closers are designed to close your door, not to prevent wind damage. We recommend installing a V11 wind chain to prevent damage to your door and closer.

A:  Yes, it will.

A:  It might add a little resistance, but it is designed to let the door automatically and slowly close. I would not use it for the purpose of keeping the door closed in the wind. 

A:  Not if it's not shut completely. The latch on my screen door was loose and strong winds blew it open and bent the door closer. It's a great item, but Mother Nature was on a mission. I bought another one right away and fixed the door latch to prevent it happening again.
