Q:The closer with stop device on its side is limiting the depth between storm door & front door and is not allowing the front door to close completely. Is there a way to rotate the closure so the door stop device faces up like the original closer we had?

This closer comes with a square rod and cannot be rotated to change the direction of the hold open button.             Q:The door now only opens about 60 degrees not the ?full? 90. What did I do wrong?

            A:  For a full 90 degree opening position the open side of the jamb bracket ¼” from door. If mounted further away from door it will not open to 90 degrees.
