A:  Thank you for your interest in our Wright Products Heavy Duty Pneumatic Screen and Storm Door Closer. Installed as directed there is a latching feature or "kick" at the end of close to ensure your door latches closed.

A:  For a full 90 degree opening position the open side of the jamb bracket ¼” from door. If mounted further away from door it will not open to 90 degrees.
