A: These adjustable screens are not meant to replace the entire window screen. If this is a double hung window, you need to use a smaller size screen
by|Mar 6, 2020
A: This screen is adjustable by width, but not by height. So it will adjust to fit the width of your window, but not the height.
I use this screen in front of the regular door screen, to double the strength of the screen so my cats cant get out. So, for me, the fact that it is not adjustable by height is not a problem.
If you are expecting it to fit both by height and width, it will not. If you only need it to fit by the width, you should be fine.

A: Can't answer definitively without more info. Is your window double hung? If so, are the 31 x 29 dimensions for the entire window or the lower sash opening? If the later, then yes, it will fit
by|Mar 9, 2020
A: Yes it has an adjustable width but it might be a little short on height it is only 25"tall not 29" like your window. Mine was short so I just had to keep the window down a little.

A: I think it would cause its adjustable.
by|Jun 3, 2020
A: Only if the opening is 24 inches. This not a replacement for a screen rather than an adjustable screen that sits in the track of the actual window not the track where an old screen may have been.

Q:How much weight/pressure can these screens hold. I live in a historic apartment building that used to be a corporate headquarters building. The steel framed windows stay up alone, but they are heavy.

A: I can’t say accurately. But I have old cord-and-pulley windows that are solid and heavy. The cord is broken so they don’t stay up by themselves. I can rest the window on this screen and it stays all summer long with no problem.

A: I am just using mine in a bathroom window that had no screen. I love it, but I have no idea how much weight or pressure can be put on this screen. Seems very sturdy and strong to me.
by|May 1, 2019
A: These are designed for wood or aluminum frame residential/apartment windows and have not been tested for steel framed commercial windows. The wider the window the wider the adjustable screen would need to be opened and less efficient it would be in supporting the window. The same would be said for the height of the screen, the taller the less effective it would be.

A: The closet size we have to fit your window would be the 18" x 33" which would close to fit the width of your window. these are not meant to replace the screen over the entire window.
by|Apr 6, 2019
A: this screen is 10 inches tall by 19 - 33 inches wide, you can slide the screens on their track when closed it is 10 x 19 when fully open it is 10 x 33
they do not make this screen in 22 inches by 33, the closet they get is a 24 x 48 that when closed is 24 x 26. the real height of the 24 x 48 is 23.5 x 48 , and the 15 x 36 is actually 14.5 x 36.
I had a odd size screen like yours and I had to get a screen kit from home depot and make it my self.

A: Yes it would work. You might need to wedge the middle where it slides open with say a toothpick so it wouldn't close.
by|Oct 7, 2018
A: I don't see why it wouldn't... you can always return it if it doesn't work out :)
by|May 6, 2023
A: Yes ... as long as you have sufficient space to land the frame vertical or horizontal make no difference ....
