A: I went to my history and clicked on my order as if I was going to purchase more. When the link came up, I clicked on it. http://www.homedepot.com/p/TrafficMASTER-Allure-6-in-x-36-in-Brazilian-Cherry-Luxury-Vinyl-Plank-Flooring-24-sq-ft-case-538115/100644803
Indeed, it says it's been discontinued.
I'd contact several stores in your area directly, or perhaps call Home Depot at their main number: (1-800-466-3337)
Maybe they can help you. It's a gorgeous color and it's been around quite a while. I can't imagine why it would be discontinued. I hope you have luck finding enough to do your project. We'd been doing one room at a time, and haven't done the hall, yet, so I'm hoping we have enough left from our other projects.

A: Thank you for your question. This product is not warrantied for use if glued together, it also should not be installed in a sun-room. The Allure Ultra, Home Decorators, and LifeProof brands are 100% waterproof.

A: The vinyl planks you are considering don't have a locking mechanism like regular plank floors. They have glue strips on there already.
We put them in our laundry room, but we didn't do anything special.
I'd be hesitant to glue them down because if you ever wanted to change them, it would probably cost a fortune to remove.
Maybe call the Home Depot main number ((1-800-466-3337). Ask them to send you copies of the warranties for the brands that are 100% waterproof. This one is considered waterproof, but 1) it's probably not 100%, and 2), this color has been discontinued.
Good luck!

A: Hello Shaun41 and thank you for your question.
Your subfloor must be sturdy, flat, and have little flexibility. The manufacturer specifies that the floor flatness tolerance should be 1/4 inch over 10 feet. You should plan to use a floor leveler if that tolerance is exceeded.
Best wishes on your project.

A: Thank you for your question. The floor flatness tolerance is 1/4" over 10'. A floor leveler should be used when exceeding tolerance.

A: Our floor in the laundry isn't perfectly flat, and it installed great! It's been down about six months, and we love it. Our daughter and her hubby installed it in their older mobile home while in college and it did great and those floors were definitely uneven. If it's mostly flat, you'll be fine. The vinyl gives a bit.

A: No underlayment

A: No. We've installed it directly over concrete. We've also installed it directly over damaged laminate floors after sanding down the badly warped spots. And we've installed it over old vinyl flooring. Our adult children have also used it. All of us are pleased at the ease of installation.

A: Thank you for your question. A 6 mil poly moisture barrier should be used over concrete only. A moisture barrier is not necessary when installing over any other type of acceptable subfloor.
