A: It’s light - you can use it one handed !!

A: Not too sure, I didn't measure the weight specifically, what I can tell you for sure is that it's a lightweight (compact design) and is easy to use with virtually no fatigue. You should be fine, it's not heavy; an average person should be able to handle it without any problems whatsoever.

Q:Can the blade be sharpened? What is the space between the cutting area? I was told by a mower repair shop that the spacing on the blade has to be about 2 1/2 inches between for them to be able to sharpen the trimmer. Buy a new one and start over?

Answer This Question
A: They can be sharpened but it is difficult to judge the level of difficulty. Each tooth on the blade will need to be sharpened by hand while the blade is fully assembled. Do not take it apart.

A: To start the trimmer, side the lock switch backwards, towards you, then squeeze the trigger switch to turn on the hedge trimmer. The trimmer will stay on as long as the trigger switch is squeezed. Lock-off switch may be released once hedge trimmer is running. Thank you.

A: I am 60yrs old. It is ok to me. I cannot say the exact weigh unless putting it on a scale. I feel it fine if cutting 2 or 3 bushes, but like other tools if cutting many bushes and holding it for a long time l will feel pressure on my arm muscle. Compared to a gas one, it has much less weigh. The only problem is that I need to watch for the electric wire all the time since cutting the wire will result in time to repair and shock possibly.
