A:  That's gonna depend on a few variables -soil/weather conditions, type of seed/grass, watering amt., etc. Things to remember -seed must have good soil contact but not buried and must never be allowed to dry out but not flooded

            A:  The NPK of Scotts Turf Builder Starter Food for New Grass is 24-25-4. Phosphorus is the second number. We have removed phosphorus from all of our lawn fertilizers except our Starter Food products.

                  A:  You can, Milorganite is low in nitrogen. It feeds the lawn by creating a nice place for bacteria to live and create nitrogen over time. Products like Scots are chemical products that will quickly be absorbed into the turf or wash away with the rain.
