Q:Should I mow my lawn prior to applying?

              Answer This Question

A:  For best results, it's best to not mow within 2 days before Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed 3 is applied. Mowing the lawn less than 2 days before the application can significantly lessen the weed surface that the product has to stick to.

A:  Pets such as cats and dogs should be removed from the area before applying Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed. While area can be re entered immediately, it is recommended to stay out of area for 24 hours so that the herbicide can be absorbed through the weed leaves. After the 24 hours it is recommended to water the product into the lawn and allow it to dry before reentry.
