A:  I have small dogs. I do not let them on the treated area for at least 72 hours, and the area has been watered well. The bag says once the dust settles. I have not had any problems.

A:  I wouldn't recommend it until a few days after treatment. Water it well.

        Answer This Question

A:  For best results do not mow the lawn within 2 days before the Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed is applied. Mowing the lawn less than 2 days before the application can significantly lessen the weed surface that the product has to stick to.

A:  Best to apply on damp lawn ! I cut my grass then next day early morning I apply fertilizer. You want fertilizer to stick to wet grass .

A:  You should wait  a few days after mowing to apply this product. Then wait a few days after you apply it before mowing again.

A:  I say, yes.  I always apply after mowing or the day after.  With short leaves, the fertilizer goes deeper or straight to the ground.  I water the lawn for a shory time to wet and disolve the fertilizer without washing it with too much water

A:  I use a hand-held spreader as my lawn area is very small. I would use a "push" spreader for a large lawn. Do not over fertilize as it will burn your grass. Water after feeding to wash the fertilizer off the grass blades and onto the soil where it can be absorbed.

A:  Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed Lawn Fertilizer should be applied to moist grass. This will help the particles stick to the weed leaves.
