A: Latitude Hall & Closet version, though am not sure these are manufactured for outdoor exposure...

A: Passage/Hall door lever is what you want if you use the deadbolt for security. The passage/hall door lever has no provision to lock, so it will only keep the door closed, but not locked. You could also look at some of the decorative o/s handle with thumb pull downs and handles. The latitude handle would be on the inside.
I have used the Century Outside handle with Lattitude inside handle. Kit comes with deadbolt.

Q:I really like the look of the handles, but when using them, the handles often stays down in most of my doors--looking limp and unattractive, and they have to be manually pulled up. Are the ones that do this defective?

A: You might have them screwed in to tightly. Just barely hand tighten until the screw is flush. They should turn and release more easily.

A: I experienced the same; it appears you can 'correct' by ensuring the latch mechanism/assembly is level. Stick a flat blade screwdriver thru the intalled mechanism and lift up or down, as needed, to start. Then make sure installed handles are screwed in snug, w/ some threadlock to reduce potential for the wiggly jigglys

Q:do i need to order 2 of these for one door? one lever for each side of the door?
by|Feb 24, 2016

Answer This Question
A: Just one but make sure you state which type of door you need it for. A closet door wouldn't need a push button lock but a bathroom would. They offer both types. I ordered both and have been satisfied with each type.

A: This is really about preference, you can order one for both sides of the door, but more often than not people only order it for one side. Please call 800-847-1864 if you have any other questions or concerns.
