A:  Hi, this door handle is made so that both pieces fit together around the mechanism so they can’t do what you’re asking about. You can look for dummy door handles that should work. 

A:  The package does contain two handles, however, in order for the handles to be secured to the door, they need to be screwed into each other. If you wanted to use only one you wouldn’t be able to turn the handle, which I’m guessing wouldn’t be important since they would be on closet doors. However, because the two handles are intended be secured together as one unit (one two-sided handle), you would need to figure out a way to secure them to the closet doors. The handles would not have pre-drilled holes for you to use to secure them, so at the very least you’d need to either glue it to the door or figure out some way to screw it in. I wouldn’t advise doing that though. This handle is designed to be mounted in a regular door handle hole, and unless your closet doors have that predrilled hole I wouldn’t advise trying this handle. It is a great door handle for a normal door though!

A:  I'm not sure if Home Depot stocks a square strike plate, but you can get one from a locksmith or you can call Schlage customer service.

A:  We only include round-corner strike and faceplates for our locks currently. If you want square-corner strikes, you will need to purchase those separately. The part number is 10-026.
