          Q:Can these handles be used as a dummy set, so both the active & inactive door handles don't have exposed screws? If I use the dummy handle, the active side won't have exposed screws & the inactive side will have screws showing. This disturbs the look.

            A:  No, it does not have a lock. There is a “privacy” lever in the same style that has a lock on one side.  This one is for closets, or hallway doors.
