Q:Is this the type of knob that is with a key on one side and a button on the other or no button?

A: It is neather. It has a small knob that turns. It is horizontal when locked and vertical when unlocked.

A: Keyed on the outside with knob on the interior side. The lock automatically unlocks when you turn the knob to go out so you don't have to fiddle with the knob. I think this is a great feature in case you would need to get out fast in case of an emergency and is much more convenient for everyday use. Hope this helps.

A: Yes. I purchased multiple lock sets and the gentleman at the store keyed them to match an existing key I already had. All at no charge!

A: Yes. Home Depot rekeyed for $5.00. Be sure to call before going to Home Depot to verify that someone will be there who can rekey while you are there or else you will have to come back at a later date to pick it up.
