Great match for existing 30 year old lock.

i had the door knob assembly ship to store for pick up after picking it up i ask the store if they could key it to my key and they said they would not do it because i bought it online not in store had to take it to a lock smith to get it keyed very disappointed with the home depot store

Keys stick in the lock. Not terrible but not smooth. Doesn't feel as hefty as other Schlage locks from the past. Not sure of its durability.

One key refused to work n second key works but is very rough n hard to make work. Needed to install to provide safety at a location two hour away from nearest HD so unable to return

The door knob assembly fit just right.

No. I had no idea that Home Depot does not change lock cores any longer. I am returning these and going directly to a lock smith. In addition I’d like to add when I chatted on line I was given the wrong information and it took over an hour on the phone with the Watertown Massachusetts location to answer my questions on changing cores. SHOP SMALL is the way to go!

Needed center bolt part To repair the one in indoor I was in a hurry to look for the part I needed separately

purchased this as a stopgap so i could lock 8 commercial doors as the door lockset that was ordered was not available.

Nice lock, does what it's supposed to do Looks good and HD was able to quickly match my existing lock keys to this new lock. Would buy again.

Junk! The new striker is too thick and my door doesn’t always “catch” the striker to completely lock. I’m now an easily burglarized house.
