A: Hi MattM, Thank you for your question. Samsung is committed to producing high quality products and providing excellent customer service, which includes helping customers resolve issues they may experience with our products. Some issues can easily be addressed with adjustments to installation or by following tips provided in the User Manual and online. If necessary, the Customer Support Team is available at 800-SAMSUNG to help determine whether service is necessary, and the product warranty is there to help, as well. Unfortunately, the reviews sometimes don't reflect steps that have been taken to remedy these issues after they're initially posted. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
A: I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought this dishwasher! We should all insist we could return at no charge and buy a different model.
A: I don't understand how Ms. Samsung replied that this unit vents "through the door". The door vent is for releasing heat & moisture from the tub... not for eliminating drainage water back- flow via an air gap. Page #18 of the Samsung installation manual clearly states that an air gap (ie:air vent) is recommended on the drain line to avoid back flow. Not doing this is the likely reason for the numerous negative reviews saying that the unit smells bad and does not clean well. It is my understanding that plumbing standard practices, and building codes in most states, require a drain line vent/air gap be placed higher than the sink fill line. Ms. Samsung...please clarify with re-post. A: no
A: Hi Vic, The DW80F600UTS vents out the bottom of the door so doesn't require a hole be drilled for venting. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
A: Hi McClella, To add dishes during the cycle, simply open the door and it will pause automatically. To resume the cycle, close the door and press Start. Thanks for your question, Ms. Samsung
A: I would have to stop and start all over again. There is no pause action.
A: After reloading, simply press start button again.
A: Press the start button for a second or 2 and close the door. Cycle will resume
A: after technician replaced the part then it works fine now. Its running quiet but its take too long to finish one clean.
A: Hi Lulu, If you'd like to cancel a cycle that you've selected, including the Smart Auto, press the button for that cycle again and the light should turn off. You should be able to select another cycle by pressing a different button. If a cycle has started and you'd like to cancel it and drain the tub, press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds. These instructions can be found on pages 8 and 12 of the User Manual. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
A: There is nothing smart about the Samsung dishwasher. You can control it from your house circuit breaker but it might be easier to get a different brand dishwasher.
A: Hi Chad....after a 1.5 years of nonstop issues, I threw my Samsung P0S in the trash and bought a Kitchenaid. Hope this helps.
A: That happened on ours and we had the repairman check it out. Needed a new part from manufacturer. Company decided to refund our money on the dishwasher instead of fix this problem. Sounds like they have a bad design for the jets.
A: Hi Chad, I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your DW80F600UTS. Please check to see if the inlet valve is clogged or, if it's the rotary spray arms that aren't circulating the water, try removing them and cleaning the nozzles to remove any food particles or debris. If these suggestions don't help to resolve the issue, please call 800-HOME DEPOT or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy help find a solution, or schedule service if necessary. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
A: Means rinse agent is low
A: There is a place to add 'rinse' on the door (circle). Using this product (drying aid) helps to dry dishes better but not required.
A: It is asking you to add rinse agent (Jet Dry, Finish, or any brand) to the container.
A: Low rinse aid
A: Low Rinse "Aid". Add some Jet Dry
A: Need to install rinse agent, otherwise it drys for an extra 30 minutes, according to the instructions,
A: When the Low Rinse light is illuminated, there's no rinse agent in the dispenser. Refill the rinse aid. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
A: glossy. Don't buy this unless you want trouble! Not worth installing, even if you get it free.
A: glossy.
A: glossy white
A: The door on the DW80F600UTW has a smooth, glossy finish. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

A: yes you can delay it in increments of three hours. It sits about an inch below the countertop so it's a poor design to operate once it's closed but you can press the controls prior to closing the door
A: Yes, you're correct. Samsung's Top Control Dishwashers, including the DW80F600UTS, can be programmed with the door open. To start the cycle, press the Start/Drain button before closing the door. Thanks for your question! Ms. Samsung
A: Perhaps they are talking about a different product. The controls are on the top of the door. Can delay start. It's in the manual about how exactly to do it.
A: This has top controls. With the door open, you set the cycle and then press START. It rings (too quietly) and you have three seconds to close the door. I imagine someone who was used to a front-control machine didn't read the manual and tried closing the door before setting the cycle and pressing Start. Or...their bell was too quiet and they are hard of hearing. This has not been a good machine for us in many ways and inaudible signals is one of them.
A: Yes- my dishwaher you can delay the start.
A: the controls are on the top of the door. It is easy to open, choose your cycle on the control buttons, hit START, and it will start the cycle when you close. If someone had to tear out tile they likely didn't measure the require depth right.
A: no ,istn true, when dishwaser is closed-no way to check the control panel unless you instal it moving it outside ,then dishwasher bottom wont be at the same row with your cabinets
A: Our dish washer sticks out enough that the controls can be seen when closed. They may have a deeper opening for their space?
A: No
A: Thanks for your interest in the DW80F600UTW. This and other Samsung dishwashers are not designed to accept custom cabinet panels. - Ms. Samsung
