The plastic coating on the racking is coming off in many places after less than 3 years. The metal frames of the racks are rusting in multiple places and have even rusted all the way through in places. The racking is supposed to have a 5 year warranty, but trying to file a claim is almost impossible.

racks are rusting already
I'm disappointed in this dishwasher. The racks started to rust almost immediately and it is no longer quiet. Aside from that, it cleans ok and looks nice. But with the fact that i'm still paying it off, it's disheartening that it isn't better quality.

Worst dishwasher I've ever seen
This is the worst dishwasher I've ever seen. Dishes come out dirty on every single load. Glasses, bowls, jars, silverware, plates - it doesn't matter. We use Cascade Ultra detergent and Jet-Dri rinse aid. We've run loads of vinegar and dishwasher cleaner through it a dozen times at least. I've removed the bottom filter and cleaned it, but it made no difference. This unit does not have a twist-out filter, so cleaning the filter is a huge hassle. It doesn't even mention doing so in the user manual, so it doesn't appear to be designed with that in mind. In any case, it didn't make any difference.
The unit is about 2 1/2 years old and has been garbage from the day we got it.
Save yourself a headache and buy anything else.

Would not recommend.
This might be the worst dishwasher ever. We thought we’d loving having a 3rd rack for utensils. Our friends have a different brand and love theirs. But our utensils are never clean. Every load 1/2 of the utensils are dirty, oily, etc. We more often than not have dirty bowls and plates too. I typically have to hand wash 1/3 if the entire load after running the dishwasher. We’ve tried many different ways of arranging our items, we make sure not to overload it, we’ve tried different cleaning products, we’ve tried adding more cleaner for the pre wash, etc. We are so unhappy with this dishwasher. We wish we could return it.

Garbage
Purchased 2 years ago and apparently the motor died today. Made a huge noise sounding like a garbage disposal so we turned it off and took all the dishes out now it just fills with water and does nothing. It barely got the dishes clean to begin with and now I have a dead unit sitting in my kitchen. Crazy that nothing lasts anymore and everything is out of warranty

Don't buy
I bought this model 2 years ago. It does not clean my dishes. We even began rinsing very well before hand. We are careful about how we load it, but still doesn't get the dishes very clean. Don't buy this.

Great Value

Dishwasher motor pump failed in less than 3 years
This dishwasher was newly installed in our remodelled condo when we bought it in Oct. 2020, so this was not our choice of appliances brand. The dishwasher never really worked that well, and it was the whole "wash your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher" game for them to get close to clean. We had a technician come out this weekend (June 2023) when nothing in the upper rack was getting clean. He broke the news to us that the motor pumping the water was working at a 10% capacity and that Samsung does not offer that part for replacement anymore. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed in the quality of a rather expensive dishwasher, and I never thought we would be replacing ours two and half years later. Looking forward to our new Bosch that we know will be FAR superior to this one.

It’s okay I guess but seal broke after a few weeks
I bought this in September of 2022 and the seal around the dishwasher started coming loose after the first 3 months. It still works and the dishes come out clean. It’s not terribly noisy and I do like how dry it gets the dishes. The seal is now so bent that I can barely get the bottom rack to come out. I’m in the process of replacing now but installation won’t be covered.

Do not purchase - Broke shortly after warranty
Broken shortly after manufactures warranty. I’m not buying Samsung products anymore.
We have had this and the warranty ended 12/31/22. We are now 4 months after the warranty and it is not powering on. The circuit breaker is fine. I tested the electric to the unit with a Klein tool. Checked the wires in the junction box. Has power and still won’t turn on. Unreal that this thing cost this much and I have to pay for repairs.

Was nice at first
Bought 6 months ago, worked great for about 4 months now the dishes come out with food stuck in the cups, and soaking wet have to run 3 wash cycles to clean them tried different soap and rinse aids there’s no filter in this unit to clean would not buy again

New addition to remodel

Worst Dishwasher
I bought this dishwasher in May 2022, and I have yet to be able to run it through one cycle without it stopping. It continuously has the LC code come on and it will not work properly, it makes an extremely loud sound when it’s running, it will not shut off until I unplug it. I am extremely disappointed in this product. I have had Samsung send out a person to fix this dishwasher two times now and it is still not working. Everything they tell me I have to do we get done and it still does not work. This is the worst product I have ever had in dealing with Samsung has not been easy. The warranty on the dishwasher it will be expired before I know it, and I have not even been able to run it through one cycle since I owned this. We have a brand new kitchen with a brand new dishwasher that doesn’t work. Very frustrated customer.

Terrible design, 0 customer support
bought this in fall 2019. the dishwasher has a metal piece riveted in, holding the tub seal gasket in place. multiple rivets popped out, and there is no way to fix the dishwasher. terrible design, even according to the repair man samsung sent to diagnose/fix it.
then, the customer support is terrible, they give you an "ecoupon" to use on the website to purchase another dishwasher. the only dishwashers available are the most expensive ones so then you end up paying more than you did for the original dishwasher. but on top of that, none of the dishwashers are actually even available, so my ecoupon for a dishwasher is absolutely useless. do not buy this dishwasher, and avoid samsung products in general in my opinion.

Great dishwasher

The racks are designed well and I love the extra third rack for utensils which works great for chopsticks. Only thing is its a little loud but it is not a big deal.

Doesn't clean the dishes.

Dishwasher arrived defective from factory
This dishwasher arrived defective from the factory (the door was not connected internally). According to the Samsung technician and warranty department, the defect on the dishwasher is not covered by the warranty. I would not recommend this dishwasher because of how difficult it has been to get the dishwasher repaired or replaced. After 8+ hours on the phone, I still do not have a resolution from Samsung for my dishwasher.

Poorly Designed
I purchased this dishwasher in February 2020, and in November 2021, the door seal that is welded broke off. This dishwasher is not built to last. It has a poor design and is not built to last very long.

Clean and Dry

There's so many features that give you great options. This really cleans and I like when I need to do a 'quick' wash vs the extended wash and still get clean dishes. I can stack a lot of dishes in and they are still clean and dry. The top rack allow me to put delicate dishes to prevent any damages. I still need to use all of the various options so far so good. The nice sleek design is also a great look.
