A: I used a staple gun

A: It al depends on where you are goin got put it. I used it for a block in the attic from an open vented area that birds could get into the attic. I just stretched it out and used a simple staple gun with 1/2" staples every 6-12". If you really needed to seal it even tighter, they you could run a bead of silicone along the top and bottom to fully seal any gaps.

A: Sorry, but no...it is really not meant for that use.
The material is similar to a screen door mesh...it is really not firm at all.
by|Nov 4, 2019
A: This is a fiberglass window screen so this is not nearly firm enough to be bent into place.

Q:How do you attach it to gutters?

Answer This Question
A: I think I would spend a few extra dollars and install some gutter guards. This could be used, but it would be a PITA to install. If you live in an area that freezes, I wouldn't use this on gutter...the ice will wreak havoc.

A: Yes. I used it to cover my vent holes in the eves of the house
by|May 5, 2023
A: It might be strong enough, but is not wide enough to be useful. It is only 8 inches wide.
by|May 5, 2023
A: yes, it is probably strong enough, but at only 8 inches wide, you would need to sew a lot of strips together, at which point it is likely to come apart. I would advise against using it for this.
