Questions and Answers for SPT 18 in. Front Control Portable Dishwasher in White with 8 Place Settings Capacity

A:  The hoses can be removed (unscrewed) from the thing that connects to the faucet adaptor. I'm guessing the hose ends inside the dishwasher twist on also. I'd check w/ SPT before you consider swapping out the hoses. The dishwasher to the faucet is max five feet. out of the box. My DW to F length is around a foot and a 1/2.

A:  No this unit is not designed to have longer hoses and we do not recommend doing that as you can potentially run into problems with the dishwasher, we only sell the hoses it comes with.

A:  Yes, the hoses are replaceable. You get can whatever length hose best suits your needs. The faucet adapter fits standard male (15/16") and female (55/64") aerator openings.

A:  About 3 ft

A:  I am not positive, but, would guess about 4 feet.

A:  There is a drain hose and water inlet hose and they are both 5ft long.

A:  It's either 3/8th or 1/2 inch. Whatever it was, it didn't mesh. My handyman zipped down to Home Depot & was back in a flash with an adaptor. This washer is HEAVY. Mine arrived upside down.

A:  It fits any of the normal, silver faucets that used to be in every kitchen in America in the 90s. Lol. I hope this helps, as I don’t have a tape measure on me. You are going to have a serious problem, as I did, if you have one of those new spray hose faucets. Smh.

A:  Our faucet adapter fits standard-sized Aerator openings for both male and female connections. Size: Male 15/16", Female 55/64". As long as your faucet has a removable Aerator, it should be able to connect the faucet adapter. For standard faucet head with a side/detached sprayer: while attached to the faucet, some detached sprayers will experience water leakage due to line pressure. This is from the design of these faucets to redirect the water pressure from the main faucet head to the side sprayer. If you have a side sprayer, you will most likely need to install a water line that is separated from the sprayer.

A:  You may have to get a thread adapter. I had to. Home Depot has a selection of thread adaptors. Expect to pay about $5.

A:  We unscrewed the aerator (little ring on end of faucet) then screwed on one included with machine. Easy and fast. This aerator is required to make the connection with the hoses attached to the machine. If you have a pull down faucet with sprayer it probably won’t work.

A:  An adapter comes w/ the washer. Faucet threads are not universal, so you _may_ have to get a thread adapter. I had to. Home Depot has a variety of faucet adaptors, most for about $5.00.

A:  This unit is not designed to permanently install if you are looking for more for a built in set up we do have a model designed for that please look into the SD-9252SS/W

A:  The drain is the same adapter as the water adapter. It drains into the sink. This is a piece of garbage. Don't buy on line. Home Depot does not deal with appliances bought on line. You are out in the cold if your dishwasher does not work. I am stuck with this. I don't have the strength to box it up and ship it UPS. They do not give refunds.

A:  No, but a built-in ver of this washer is available. For less than the portable. Though not from Home Depot's website.

A:  The drain is on the part that fastens to the faucet. It drains from the bottom of the faucet hook up and into your sink.

A:  We use the delay feature at night so water is turned on all night. At first I worried about turning faucet off right away but have not had any issues.

A:  It does have a delayed start feature & the unicouple can remain plugged in until you get home.
