A:  I have some super large square plates that I'm guessing are 10 inches. They fit just fine.

A:  We have Fiesta Ware. Not sure of size, but dinner plates have plenty of headroom. Hope this helps.

          by|Jan 17, 2019

A:  The average plate will fill you should have no problem with any plates 7 to 9 inches.

Q:Can this dishwasher clean and not break stem wear? Cyrstal?

              Answer This Question

A:  Crystal (w/ wide mouths) I wouldn't sweat. Stemware, I'd handwash if I were you. There's a spray bar under the top rack (where glassware goes). The spacing of the rack is okay for bigger stuff, but stemware, I'd be leery of dishwashing by _any_ machine. By "wide mouth" glassware, I mean when upside down, they aren't tippy. A Brandy or Cognac Snifter is OK. A Champagne flute isn't.

              by|Nov 4, 2018

A:  I don't know about crystal, but my wine glasses do just fine. It has little stem holders to keep the glasses from moving around.

A:  This unit is designed to wash dishes we don't believe you should have a problem with that. Please contact 800-330-0388 for technical support.

Q:how long are the wash cycles

                    Answer This Question

                    A:  about 120 minutes

                    by|Oct 30, 2018

A:  At least 2 hours. Some are closer to 3. I have started using the "light" cycle and that takes less time and still gets well-rinsed dishes clean.

                      by|Mar 25, 2019

A:  I use a dishwasher pod, which requires the longest cycle - All In One - 1 hour, 55 minutes. Everything comes out clean, though eating tools aren't dry. If you use liquid detergent and a drying agent (Jet Dry, for example) the cycles available to you can be much shorter. Heavy, Normal, Light, Rinse, Speed. AiO is the longest because the manufacturer wants to be certain the pod completely dissolves.

A:  The casters are removable, but the portable dishwasher should be used with the casters at all times.

A:  Probably, but why? Do you want a built-in? this model is available in that variant. Less expensive, too. All portables cost more because they're pre-plumbed. FYI

A:  This unit does not have a built in dryer. The drying method used in this unit is known as Residual Heat Drying where the unit uses residual heat from the warm water used during a wash. This drying method allows our units to be more energy efficient and quieter. It is normal to find the interior a little damp. It is recommended to open the door at the end of a wash cycle and leave it ajar for 10-15 minutes, the air exchange will allow the dishes to dry faster.

A:  Are the plates drip-free for me? No. I use a pod. You might get a different answer from a liquid detergent/rinse aid user. The plates have very few drops. Glassware sits at an angle so water is not a problem. Flatware is clean but not w/o moisture on the handles. You put the flatware in handle down.

A:  no, you're going to want to pop the door open after it finishes and let them finish air drying as they cool down

                                    by|Oct 30, 2018

A:  It does not dry at all. You have to leave the door propped open after the cycle or hand dry. If you are looking for a dishwasher with a drying feature, this is not it. It didn't matter to me. I didn't use the dry cycle on my build-in dishwasher anyway. It's a waste of energy and it heats up your kitchen in the summer time.

A:  no I leave the door open for a few hours right after the cycle ends,if possible.
