A: Of course these guns can be used to paint walls. What might hold you back is your compressor. The larger gun needs about 3.3-3.9 CFM @ 30 PSI. Which is WAY lower than HVLP guns, but might still be a problem with a small compressor and large area that you need to paint. But even then, you can break the job down into smaller sections that your compressor can handle. Not ideal, but if you need to paint one wall, it's hard to justify a monster compressor.
A: Thank you for the interest in the SPRAYIT SP-33000K LVLP Spray Gun Kit. Yes, for painting large walls airless paint sprayers would be a better option. You can watch our spray gun video and get a better idea of how large the fan pattern would be.
A: No...this gun isn’t for walls. A airless sprayer is better for that. This is gun works best with thinner enamels and polyurethanes.
A: I'm using it to paint a riding mower and small automobile parts, It might work for painting walls, but the cup is way too small for all but the smallest of walls, without multiple refills. Also, the tips are a bit small for house paints, They would need to be thinned. Though I could easily see myself using this to apply oil and urethane finishes to furniture, doors, windows or other wood products
A: I would sat no because the container is too small and it won't spray latex paint
A: i have sprayed latex on an mdf book shelf i built with this gun and it looked great. i used the premium latex with the primer included in the paint. i have the sprayit r500 gun with only the 1.3 nozzle. im looking into the other nozzle sizes and thats why im here. i thinned quite a bit with windshield wiper fluid. you can google that on the web. it flashes off and doesnt affect the paint
A: Yes, this model will work with latex paint.
A: Yes. I spray latex paint, milk paint and water borne clear coat with mine. Nice to have four nozzle sizes to choose from. You might want to try an extender because water borne products dry so fast - sometimes too fast for my liking.
A: I just purchased this set and am very disappointed in it. I can't get it to spray latex paint very well even after removing the plastic filter. One answer to this question thinned the paint 20% and added floctrol and got good results but I did thin mine without getting the same result. I would have to answer the question with a no it will not spray latex paint.
A: Yes. I used it once, first time experience with any sprayer or any paint and for a project usingh Behr latex paint. I used the 2.0mm nozzle (largest). I thinned the paint with water (nearly 20%) and used Floetrol as well which is both good for the gun and provides a better finish. The paint did not go on very heavy but the finish turned out good with no problems. No spatter, no plugged nozzle. Latex dries very fast so you need to clean up right away. Suggest you check out a youtube video on air spraying with latex paint.
A: You can use latex, if you thin it way down. But, I suggest you don’t use latex with this type of gun...you have to thin the paint so much you begin to ruin the adhesive properties of the paint. Use an airless spray guy, designed to spray latex paint
A: Yes work great low pressure air compressor

A: Thank you for the interest in the SPRAYIT SP-33500K LVLP Spray Gun Kit. There are a total of four nozzles / tips included in this kit. One already on each spray gun and two extra in the box. Thank you
A: Tip sizes are 1.3, 1.7, and 2.0. The needles are unmarked but the nozzles are clearly marked. You can easily see which goes with which. Hope that helps.. buy one :)
A: Tip sizes is a broad question. What do you need to know about tip sizes?
A: You can, but with the larger of the two guns you may have to spray at a lower pressure and therefore slower than you would with a larger capacity compressor. More important than capacity though is flow-rate/consumption. Make sure your compressor can provide the specified air volume at a pressure above the working pressure the gun operates best at, as listed in the manual & on the California Air Tools site, and you're golden. The larger of the two guns wants 3.9CFM @ 30psi, so anything that delivers that at ~40PSI (a common spec pressure) will do fine. Check out the CAT 4610AC or 5510A (the model I have). With something with less output flow-rate at the desired pressure you'll just have to pause your spraying more often to let the compressor refill the tank.
A: Thank you for the interest in the SPRAYIT LVLP Spray Gun Kit. For light coatings (Stains & Lacquers) we suggest a 1.0 Hp Air Compressor. For Medium coatings (Latex) we suggest a 2.0 Hp Air Compressor Thank you
A: Depends on what you are spraying. If you are asking if it will keep up I'd say yes. It sprays fantastic with only 40 lbs of air pressure. You could spray lower if you had to. I turned the gun way down for basecoats as it sprays really efficient.
A: Depends on your CFM @ 30 PSI. The smaller gun needs 2.4-3.1 or so and the larger needs 3.3-3.9 CFM. Though if you're only painting items the size of bowling balls, you'll be fine anyways. From the specs I found online, these guns (especially the little 0.8mm nozzle one) require less volume of air than any other HVLP/LVLP gun I came across. So it's not like you'll find a better gun for that small of a compressor. You may just need to either buy a bigger compressor or accept that you need to limp through your jobs
A: Probably not because your compressor will be running a lot. Unless your motor is rated at 100% duty cycle it probably won't keep up with the pressure or volume requirements on the gun. Even though they are small.
A: Thank you for the interest in the SPRAYIT LVLP Spray Gun Kit. For light coatings (Stains & Lacquers) we suggest a 1.0 Hp Air Compressor. For Medium coatings (Latex) we suggest a 2.0 Hp Air Compressor Thank you
A: Sounds like a stretch to me. I'd first check the cfm supplied by your compressor. If it's marginal you may be able to get by if you're spraying small objects because the compressor will have time to refill the tank. But, if you're spraying full-size doors (for example) you might have to stop again and again which you wouldn't want to do. I use a 2 hp 8 gal compressor unit which works fine for wood turnings and cabinet doors.
A: Regardless of where it comes from, it is of WAY better construction quality than any of the other spray guns I've seen in person (mostly options seen at the local Harbor Freight...) and as far as I can tell the SprayIT brand is owned by California Air Tools, and they make AWESOME compressors, which is where I found out about these spray guns in the first place. I was looking on their site for compressor specs (having already specified a bunch in a work context, I wanted to pick one for myself) and came across the LVLP guns, and figured it would be of similar quality, and it is.
A: Thank you for the interest in the SPRAYIT SP-33000K Spray Gun Kit. SPRAYIT is a USA Brand since 1928.
A: I believe it is. These days most items like this are.
A: The needles will ne marked.
A: The needles should fill the oriface they match pretty closely, so you should be able to match them up on a "smallest/medium/biggest" relative comparison with the matching nozzle and outer spray-directing collar.
A: I wondered same thing. I believe all the needles are the same
