A:  Thank you for reaching out, Carol! While Rust-Oleum Porch and Floor can be used on interior surfaces, we do not recommend it for use in a shower. This is because the surface will constantly be exposed to water and high humidity. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3

                    Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for reaching out, Ruby! Rust-Oleum Porch and Floor Coating is suitable for use on interior or exterior surfaces. When applying to previously coated surfaces, you want to ensure the surface is clean, dry, and in good, sound condition. Any loose or peeling paint needs to be removed. We also recommend scuff sanding the surface to create a surface profile to promote full adhesion. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 3

                      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for reaching out! Our Rust-Oleum Porch & Floor Coating may be applied over previously coated concrete. All loose or peeling coatings must be removed, and the remaining coating should be scuff-sanded using 60-80 grit sandpaper to ensure proper adhesion. Once this is complete, the exposed concrete should be spot-etched using our Rust-Oleum Clean & Etch for Concrete: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-1-gal-Concrete-Etch-and-Cleaner-301242/206495770 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 2
