A:  firstly, I have no exact experience to do this paint on tile. so far, as I knew acrylic is common use for art work sealing but they are not as strong as enamel paint. This clear coating is mainly work on the auto paint for final clear coating process. What you can do you may test one piece to see if it stay well or not. , if not you have to do a clear primer before you add this clear coating on top of it. A:  As you know this clear coating is serve car paint. Basically, you need spray multi coat before you can reach glossy finish. But if you do it on the wood, I'm not sure will it work or not. Also, it depends on what kind stain paint you paint the wood. If urethane paint then you have to some sample test before you going to complete paint on it.. Otherwise, if the paint against each other, that is chemical reaction, then the clear coat may show folded line. If its work, then you will get a very shinny clear coating on your wood work. For me, I did it on a outdoor metal seat with Black spray paint, its work pretty nice. No more dull flat color. Test the paint is more secure for your work. I hope my opinion can help.
