A: The outdoor ( condenser unit) should be free of debris and can be blown out with an air hose or leaf blower. The indoor ( evaporator unit ) has filters that can be removed , cleaned and reinstalled. If the indoor unit has additional build up you can contact a HVAC professional to partially disassemble for a more thorough cleaning. Lastly make sure your indoor units drain tube is not restricted.

Q:Can you use this unit outdoor s in a dog house and is it safe?

Answer This Question
A: The unit itself would be safe. Wouldnt require a very big one as the output may be too much in a small space. There will be some wiring and piping on the outside that would have to be concealed so it is exposed to the dog.

A: This system is not designed for use with animals, although such an installation is possible. The dogs would need to be prevented from damaging or chewing the indoor unit or it louvers, the electrical wiring (inside unit and outside unit), the condensation hose, and the insulated copper line set running between the units. Also, this system functions using a line-of-sight infrared remote control, so you would need to ensure the ability to see the front of the indoor unit any time you would need to change modes or make any setting adjustments, since the IR receiver is next to the digital display.

Q:Can the interior unit be mounted on the ceiling?

Answer This Question
A: Thanks for your question - this system's indoor unit cannot be mounted on or in a ceiling due to how its condensation removal components are assembled. You are looking for a "cassette" split ac system which is designed exclusively to install overhead in a ceiling.

Answer This Question
A: Item #203013142 (9,500 BTU (3/4 Ton) Ductless (Duct Free) Mini Split...) is a complete mini split air conditioner system. Item #303757471 (25FTLS-37GW2 25FT...) is a replacement 25 Foot Insulated Copper Line Set only. It is not a full air conditioning system, even though Home Depot's listing system automatically pulls marketing images from the complete mini split system the line set is compatible with.

A: Sorry, I do not completely understand your question, but these units can be uninstalled and reinstalled by a professional, which has to capture the refrigerant in order to save you costs vs adding more refrigerant.
