I Love it.. follow the manual for installing , especially for the height to get cool air for the square feet.of the room

Received in two shipments within a day apart, took about 6 days. Installation very easy. Set up my Self contained as it says, only need to let air in line out, had a friend who is A/C licensed do it. Had an electrician run the power, because you need an outside switch off for the power and breaker.

I love the actual system its self but this is suppose to be a DIY install. The instructions we not helpful. YouTube was the reason why I have it up right. My unit did not come with a condensation line or a power supply line so I had to spend extra money on parts that were displayed and said "included" that we not. But its up and running so the brand and unit itsself is great

It replaced a unit that was +10 years old. This one is much quieter and easier to control.

the picture shows a head with the package i did not get the head with this product and to buy a head separately made your product cost too much money

As recommended a air conditioning professional should do the installation.

The fitting for charging the system and attaching gauges is not a standard size. This is problematic in finding an HVAC company to finish the installation. Instructions must be downloaded. They say it is to ensure you get the most updated instructions, thats BS, they were not updated to the unit.

the mini split is great, only complaint i have is no instructions on the remote control, have called 4 times to customer service, & no one ever picks up the phone so I can ask for material

Needs better instructions for installing. You have to have a professional do it, it requires equipment that is not available to normal user. A telephone call to there help line went unanswered. It is an excellent product but support and instruction for installing are totally lacking.

Had nothing but problems with this product. Had it less than two years and the compressor is shot. Several visits by service man and still no luck. Waste of money. Hoping to recoup some of the money we wasted on this product. Would definitely not recommend.

What a fabulous matching. I have not yet used the heat setting but the air conditioner is amazing. I have this unit in a fairly small space of under 150sq ft. The remote is perfect. I will say, it is definitely NOT an unbox and plug in and work. It took my contractors a full day to install.

The air conditioner works great would recommend this product to anyone.

The instructions are really poor when it comes time to charge the system (the most critical part) so DIY's beware, it takes special tools that the typical person wouldn't have. The rest of the install isn't to bad but due to design issues some of it's a pain. As far as the unit itself it's too early for me to tell yet.

Replaced window unit with this mini split, wonderful improvement ! Window Shakers are always a condensing mess, VERY noisy, and run all the time increasing our electric bill. This unit is whisper quiet. Condensing unit is outside detached from home so no water running down the wall. It cycles on and off as needed, so the electric isn't running constantly, I look forward to the savings. I wish I would have done this the first time ! Had an HVAC technician install for me, unless you're REALLY handy I recommend you do so as well. Instructions are not great. Best advice .... print manual off of HD purchase site ,it is specific to model with better detail and information.

Very good product: Easy to use and quiet. Works well for heating and cooling . Installation: If you are experienced with HVAC installation, it is easy. If not, hire an HVAC technician to install it.

It is a little harder to install than you would think, mostly because the instructions are so poor. They are intended to cover the installation of several models so they are deliberately incomplete vague or ambiguous in some places. They were clearly translated from Chinese by somebody whose English wasn't very good and all of the critical specifications are metric (millimeters of mercury instead of inches of mercury, etc.) How much extra trouble could it be for them to provide a separate instruction manual for each model written in good English with equivalent specifications set forth (i.e. 10 mm hg/.4 inches hg)? You can study up on the internet on how these things work, translate the specifications and eventually puzzle through the installation but you had better have a little background in household electrical circuits and refrigeration or you won't know what to look for.

Good value for price. Machine works well. No bells or whistles but will cool as it should...

Trying to find the freon leak , I think is the head unit.

Set up was easy. I did it all myself. I did have someone vacuum the lines for me before I opened the valves. However I noticed afterwards that the directions said you could just purge the lines for a few seconds and there's no need to evacuate. I figure it's safer to evacuate the system anyway. It works great. A/C is very cold.

I installed a mini-split like this for one of my family members a few moths ago. I recently purchased this one for our new kitchen when its finished. The only complaint I may have is the instructions are not detailed enough for the average do-it-yourselfer, but a quick You-Tube video and you will be good to go. These little units work great! They are relitively inexpensive, very well built, and its quiet! We had wall units in our old kitchen, and the new one will have the Mini-Split. The room temp. stays consistant. The inside unit doesn't weigh much or take up much space, and the outside unit is not big and bulky to weedeat around. You could ven mount it on the wall it's so light! Sure beats a $4-5k system! Great product.

Had this unit for a 11 months now and I worked it all Summer and worked great. The heat only a few time and it's doing great also. The room I have it installed is 270 sqft and it does a great job at cooling and heating the room. Installation was not the easiest especially since I ran the pipes 25ft straight up and this inside to the wall, but it can be done by an experienced DIY person. Since I had to run the pipes 25ft I had to call a licensed AC person to come charge it some more, but if you are only running it a short distance (under 15ft) it comes precharged so you don't have to even worry about that. The down side is, its not very energy efficient as I though it was being only 110v. If you leave it one, it stays one unless you put it on a timer. The unit runs continuously and activates the condenser when needed, but still will run up you electric bill. After that first month, I only turned it on when I needed it and that works great since it will cool the room down in about 10 minutes. Best of Luck, Jose

I was initially pleased with the unit, which functioned well to cool our garage office all summer. But come the first day of fall and the need to use the heat function, I discovered there is no setting on the remote to turn on the heat, and the manual shows the heat only "on some models." The specs and description from HD clearly say it's a heat pump for efficient winter warming, yet there appears to be no heat function anywhere on the unit and neither the manufacturer nor Home Depot will help me figure out if or how I can turn on the heat. Even if there is some way to climb a ladder up to the unit and turn it on there (which I have not yet figured out), not having a remote to set heat and only to cool is an insane design defect. If HD's description is wrong and it doesn't heat, they will hear from my lawyers. If there is a heat function that can't be accessed through the remote control, then this is just a very poorly designed unit that will be nearly impossible to use in the winter. Either way, spend a bit more and get a name brand.

heater on unit doesn't work. Installer tried to determine why and the service line for Ramsond just told him to go over his install again. Eventually trying things he blew the fuses on the outside box, and i have to get a full HVAC technician to fix it now.

We just got the unit up and running and so far we love it! I read reviews before we purchased and those that advise to let a professional install are right! We mounted the unit but lacked the equipment and expertise to wire, pressurize and vacuum the lines. The directions it comes with are worthless. Over-all, well worth the money. It cools quickly and is quiet. I'd buy another if I had it to do over again.

I couldn't be happier with my mini split. It is efficient and quiet. I like having the controls mounted also. Never have to worry about misplacing them. It is even attractive and doesn't interfere with my decor.
