A:  The T just barely fit in the track on my door. I used liquid soap to get it to slide in. It the top was thicker it would not have fit. In my case it has been working well.

      A:  If the track width is about 3/8" I think it would be OK. If it is wider it may move around since the exiting one may be taller.
