Q:The the actual width lists as 38.75". Is that width including the horizontal filigree or is the main metal part 38.75"? We have a masonry issue that needs to be covered by a door that's actual width is at least 38" though the fire box opening is standard.

A: Each handle has a top and a bottom screw. The new handle would have to have the same centerline spacing in order to change them. We love ours just the way it is!

A: Hello Regina, We only recommend using our glass fireplace doors with wood burning fires. Should you need any additional information, please feel free to give us a call at 877-447-4768 or email at customerservice@ghpgroupinc.com. Thank you! - GHP Group

A: We installed them in our fireplace which has a stacked stone facade layer over standard concrete block. It is conventional wood burning. The only issue is that the stones are jagged, so we had to use a grinder to carve a groove for the frame of the door to fit flush. Still vacuuming the dust a year later!

A: Yes you can. I have a gas insert and had no issues with install.

A: Each glass door separately swings completely open so each one is against the fireplace brick when fire is burning. Inner screen doors do too for access but stay closed when fire is burning.

A: The doors open with the handles. They do not bi fold

A: Hi Mac, the doors on this model are not bi-fold. - GHP Group
by|Jul 29, 2021
A: No folds, open like a regular door with hinges outward. You need around 18’ inch of clearance for each door more or less. It is really nice if you have the spaces for it. Easy to install
by|Aug 2, 2021
A: The 2 doors are NOT bi-fold. There are 2 screen doors behind the glass doors, nice when the
fire is going.
by|Jul 28, 2021
A: The hinges are hidden. The doors swing open from the middle. Notice the 2 vertices handles in the middle. The doors are beautiful installed
