Questions and Answers for Orbit Hard Wired Rain/Freeze Sensor

A:  If there is a wiring terminal for a rain sensor then this should work with your timer, but it will not be compatible if you're not able to connect the wires to your timer.

A:  No, it does not have any threads inside the bottom of the sensor but it does have a mount that can be screwed into your desired surface.

A:  Perhaps 12 or more feet, I don't quite recall. However, you can make it as long as you wish with some light weight cord such as speaker, lamp or thermostat wire. Mine might be an Orbit brand

A:  The cable is 30 feet long.

A:  Yes it is

A:  This rain sensor just provides a switched output, on or off, no other electronics involved. So if your sprinkler timer will accept a switched input, it may work.

A:  That depends on how often it is used. Our rain sensors also have a 6 year warranty in case you run into any questions or concerns as well.

A:  For compatibility questions, we recommend contacting the controller manufacturer.

A:  I was using it with a Rainbird, so yes it does work.
