A:  No, it takes 16 gauge L or T nails , & 15.5 Gauge Staples

A:  Thanks for your question! This particular flooring nailer will on fire 16ga L-cleats, T-Cleats, and 15.5ga flooring staples. We do offer an 18ga flooring nailer in our Freeman Brand, model PF18GLCN.

A:  Yes, you can use 18 gauge L-cleats.

A:  No, I think it needs the 16 gauge (or 15 1/2 gauge) ones.

A:  THIS GUN CAN USE L-CLEATS BUT THEY ARE REQUIRED TO BE 16 GA.

A:  Decking Screws & a Drill (Cordless preferably ) Use Deck Screws or Galvanized Screws. If you choose to nail your deck together , use a framing gun and I would at least use Galvanized Ring Shank Nails

A:  I WOULD USE A PNEUMATIC FRAMING GUN CAPABLE OF SHOOTING 31/2 INCH RINGSHANK NAILS.
