Regardless of the claims made by anyone producing a decorative crate like this, the only material that is chew proof is metal/wire. The stainless steel spindles we use in the door and sides is chew proof but the surrou8nding material, while quite durable is not chew proof. It may be worth the effort to try and determine why your pet is chewing and try to reverse that behavior. In some cases, your poet may be one that simply does not want to be confined. Other possible issues can be boredom, stimulus from outside the crate, etc. Most behaviors can be reversed with the help of a registered trainer.
