Q:These come with 1100mAh batteries - anyone have luck replacing batteries with a lower (1000mAh) battery? I could not find an exact replacement and now I see directions say to use same size or greater mAh. Was very pleased first batteries lasted 5 years.

Answer This Question

A:  Yes, you can use lower than 1100mAh, the battery inside is : 2x IRF18500,1100mAh 3.2V (2) Li-ion. IFR18500 is the shape, 1100mAh is the capacity, 3.2V is the voltage, so as long as you keep the shape and the voltage the same, you can use higher or lower mAh and the light will work. For any additional questions, or on how to buy the replacement batteries, please call Nature Power tech support at 1800-588-0590.
